Maypole dance at 55 PGA - 13May2022

Maypole dance is a ceremonial folk dance performed around a tall pole hung with ribbons that are woven into complex patterns by the dancers. In this dance the patterns included plaiting around the pole, and unwinding without knots forming a rainbow of coloured ribbons, the most complex pattern, being the cobweb.

the organizers got wide cloth ribbons from a fabric store
