Great information about echeverias, and great info on how to propogate! Easy! I have hope for my little projects! have to say it again, how fortunate that the conservatory has you to tend to these plants and add to their inventory! Really inspiring! 🌵🌿🍀🌻🌼🌸
Hi Marija, that was a great tour ! And I agree, echeverias love cold. By the way, all the plants I let on my balcony this winter are doing really great and even better. In fact, it wasn't very cold this winter in Paris, we had only few days with -2 °C. Most of the time we had around 5 °C I think. And all the plants are ready to bloom soon. Even the crassula did well, especially the brevifolia. My last watering was in the beginning of october and the first was in the beginning of march. So yes, I will definitely recomande a cold winter rest for the succulents, if of course they are protected from the rain.
Glad to hear all your plants did so well outside. We do water in conservatory until December and again middle of February but we also have some heaters in the desert dome so probably plants get dry and wake up faster. It’s all about knowing your environment and it seems you did what your plants needed and they did well. I am thinking about using garage big windows next winter and setting some of my plants there and leaving them in cold facing east.
Now I gotta run to a garden centre and get more succulents 😅 I love how beautiful each one is…I was inspired to propagate and behead more of plants right now

Lovely colors on those plants and the Graptopetalum superbum in bloom must be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
It’s quite unique and so festive like wedding decoration 🥰

I was at the conservatory yesterday. The desert dome looks so beautiful!!
Aw thank you much! I am so glad to hear that!
Marina, where are you located? What is the name of the conservatory? Thank you and your husband for all the great videos!
I live in Niles, Michigan and this is Potawatomi Conservatory in South Bend, Indiana which is town next to mine.
Hi. O have had some infestation me too on some echaveria and cactus. Your plants looks great. 😍
They are all so beautiful
So beautiful 🌱🌴🌺🌱🌴♥️♥️
Thank you ! 😊
Love love love them all!! 💚
What’s the name of the first succulent you showed? Please I must get one! Tia
I can't keep any of my echeverias alive in my humid place. 😭
It is really hard if you don’t have enough light and it’s humid 😕
It depends, you can use more perlite and cover them if it rains!
