I ran into Bellhound Choir while listening to a Black River Delta channel, and holy @#$%! I can't get enough of the dark grit and constant tension brought on by the easily restrained power in his voice that threatens to explode, but instead settles back down like wet concrete. The instruments and vocals just ooze through the song in a comfortable malaise that settles on the bones of the song like it's the syrup on my pancakes. I may be getting a bit worked up prematurely here, since I JUST found his music and only listened to a few songs (2 or 3 times each). For some reason I'm not too worried about being wrong.
