    @12:26, that feature is WAY bigger and steeper in RL, some real go pro effect there. I think the reason why the Slash felt easier on the climbs is because of the mullet rear wheel, 27.5 is less effort to pedal than 29 because it's basically like pedaling a 2 tooth smaller chainring. The Fuel EX8 is also quite heavy for a trail bike, most reviews actually say the gen 6 Fuel EX pedals extremely well. Steep, techy climbs is where that mullet wheel and high pivot are going to suffer, pedal that and the Fuel EX up Apex and see which one does better (I would be really surprised if the Slash did better on the Apex climb).

    you have the best camera angles when riding. so many others riders face their camera so low that you cant see ahead at all, and its nauseating/disorienting .

    If you still have the Fuel EX flip the Mino link into the high position and go for a climb...I was stunned at how big of a difference it made, the bike climbed much better and was much more nimble in the twisties and technical stuff with only a minor difference in feel on the downhill.

    • @Twisted_Biscuit
      @Twisted_Biscuit Год назад +1

      I agree, I have a 2020 fuel ex and it can do anything. I ride it in the high position all the time. If you lighten the rolling mass, lighter cassette, cranks, and tire it basically turns into into a XC bike that can go downhill.

      Nope, I rode it pretty hard for 3 rides and no issues at all. Not sure if it’s because I didn’t have it long or not but no chain issues. I actually never heard about that issue until after I uploaded the video

    How do you set up your GoPro when it’s in the the chest mount. When I have mine in the chest mount, I have it upside down but then I can’t see how it looks on camera. How can you see if you got the right angle

    • @MattyActive
      @MattyActive  Год назад

      I just guess honestly, I have a pretty good idea because of all the experience but people usually just mount it based on them sitting up, they don’t account for when they are going downhill and have to stand up off the saddle and crouch down

    I'm 180cm tall and I have Scott Ransom in size L. Which size would you recommend for me? Slash M/L or L? I'm more DH rider than Air so... should I go for the bigger size (L) ? It's +1,6cm more in reach and +3cm more in wheel base compared to my Scott size L.

    This climb can’t be difficult to do in any bike.
