I would love to see the FXX-K together with a P1 GTR and a Vulcan on the same track. If a 918 Spyder would be there as well, even better.

As much as Top Gear isn’t the same without the trio we all love, Chris Harris is keeping it alive. I gotta admit, I’m quite glad he’s on it.

As much as I miss the trio at top gear, how can someone possibly dislike this video is beyond me. Chris Harris is a legend, a complete encyclopedia of automobiles. Please for once learn to appreciate things for what they are, rather than drawing stupid comparisons and the unnecessary hate.

When the world’s electric... I’m going to miss that sound. Beast. End of an era. Talk about going out on a high note. No competition, Ferrari won. McLaren P1 2nd. Porsche 918 3rd. Lexus LFA 4th. Best naturally aspirated street legal cars ever produced.

Most probably I'll never get a chance to drive anything this kind and - as a fan of Italian creators - it is huge for me to get at least a bit of the experience through full screen POV shots and loud speakers. Amazing, isn't it? You think "Woah, the FXX-K is blindingly fast!". And then you put it in Qualifying mode and, wham, it's a LOT faster.

It doesn't make much financial sense to do that when the BBC will pay his costs to make TG films. Plus he's probably under an exclusive contract which wouldn't allow him to work for competitors (or himself).

The FIA must do a racing series for this kind of cars, for everyone to enjoy watching them racing. Cars like this, the P1 GTR, Zonda R, Vulcan and maybe even the Koenigsegg One:1
The Agera One:1 would have no chance on a track against the LaFerrari FXXK or P1 GTR.

Armands 17 they usually release clip from the last season when the new season about to arrive. So nothing changes
rockzs74r It's more of a 'coincidence' than a purposely released video to challenge Grand Tour's content, because GT releases videos of their episodes every week unlike the TopGear which rather releases TG Magazine stuff (which I enjoy).

i still remember how mind blowing the lap time of the old fxx when Schumacher drove it in top gear..
Itd be facinating to see a real time overlap over the circuit of a fxxx vs an f1 or f3000 just to see how comparable an undriveable $ 3m car for the road is relative to a formula race car?

Yeh, there's down force and then there's down force on a car that weighs probably about half as much. It makes a huge difference.

The crazy speeds he can take corners. At about 40 seconds in he comes down the straight and is at about 185MPH (based on the telemetry that is on some of the other versions) when he takes a sharp right turn, barely lifting off the throttle so probably still doing 175MPH. Even a car like the FXX-K would probably just keep going straight.
Exactly what i thought dean! When you need a pit crew to drive a car , nor drive it on the road , no race group it fits into and a $3m ticket to drive you just kinda wonder .....why? it would not be as exhirating to drive as a formula 1 or f3000. I race formula fords and they lap porsche gts with the wind in your face and about the most viceral feel in driving a car bar f1 and they are $ 15-25k for a great set up. Pull it on a trailer attached to a 50k cayenne and get a 130k gt3 2nd hand and youve got 3 cars for 200k for every occasion!

That is passion, and Chris Harris is one of the only host who can communicate it to the viewer like this. Clarkson, Hammond and May were the best at it in the old Top Gear time, but somehow, it seems they have lost it in the new show (Grand Tour). What is missing from the new Top gear team is the genuine complicity and authenticity the 3 blocks had (I could just watch them talking and joking around and have fun); although it seems the authenticity part is also gone in the Grand Tour

Chris dont be surprised you got to experience this amazing machine because you earned it through hard work and endless years doing all the stuff it takes to be good enough to even contemplate driving this. This is your reward of sorts for that and for inspiring our young people you deserve to have many more days like this mate. Id absolutely love to see it race against the ferrari F1 car! Sure it probably wouldnt win but just how cool would it be to actually experience or even watch lime us mortals hahaa. Hope your year goes from strength to strength mate, and please be bit less stressy training topgear guests when turoring them in the topgear track hahaa, be blessed buddy. Paddy :-)
