Thanks for your comment! You are exactly right! I also always take my Gerber Dime multi tool (love is because it’s small, lighted and just what I need) that has a pair of tweezers. Tweezers are definitely a must as well!
Tweezers work for some slivers, but add a needle for the difficult ones. I keep my needle in one of those orange plastic tubes that I keep my wooden matches in.
Thank you, Debra! Sounds like you’ve got some serious miles on those soles and have probably seen some incredible things! Thanks so much for watching! Really appreciate your kind words!
Hey thanks for the video! I found it useful. I was looking to do a lightweight version of mine, and I really like your pill bags. One thing I didn't see on your kit was like an after bite for insects for like a wasp sting or tick bite. Also some tweezers come in handy to remove splinters 😁
Thank you! Ya, the pill bags have been awesome. Super useful! I think you're right about the after bite treatment. We didn't have tons of insects in Utah where I did most of my adventuring. Mosquitos, but they are just annoying. But having just moved to VA at the end of last year, I definitely need to add a tick key and some tweezers! I'm going to throw that in there! Thanks so much for watching!
🤣 Sounds like you have what you need! I started taking first aid more serious when my daughter started coming with me more and more. I've rarely used anything in my FAK, but nice to know it's in the pack! Thanks, Buckley!!
Thanks, Timothy! The contact case has worked out well! Nothing worse than leaving the lube home because it's too bulky and then needing some lube mid-hike/run. 😬🔥😱
I think that's a good addition. I always have a buff around my neck and often an extra in my pack, but having a dedicated (and clean!) bandana in the FAK is probably an excellent idea! Thanks!
I recommend having a pair of tweezers to get rid of splinters and ticks or if the dog has a thorn in their paw.

Thank you for the great videos!!!
Thank you! Very kind of you! It is fun to our them together so I’m glad you find them useful! Thanks for watching!
Great job on the kit. It’s very comprehensive without going over board. I’ve been hiking since the 70s and that’s all I’ve ever needed.

Super helpful! Thank you!

I need to up my first aid game. Mine is basically antacid, ibuprofen, and a couple bandaids. 🤣
🤣 Sounds like you have what you need!

love the channel dude
Thank you! Really appreciate that!
Awesome tips, Jeff! Especially the contact lens container is brilliant.

I guess it wouldn’t necessarily need to be in the kit, but I’m wondering if a bandanna might be useful to bring. Thanks!

Super Glue
Recommend bleed stop powder?
That’s not something I’ve used before but sounds like it would be a good addition! Thanks, Scott!! And thanks for watching!
