This is hugely helpful - this is one of those details about this game and how it works that's NEVER EXPLAINED in the game in any real way but clearly fundamental to any successful strategy in it. I was literally playing for a couple years before I even knew it was a thing at all!
Special mention Vogoth, I believe it was MurderInc who put out a video recently. But if he's in front, he heals all behind before they take aoe damage. If he's in the back, all take damage before getting the Vogoth heal
Yes, so if he's in front, you're full health, and let's say a skullcrown comes in, your whole team is dead before his heal takes place. The heal doesn't help if you're full health already
Love this. It took me a long time to figure this out, mainly because I used to just do my positioning entirely based on aesthetics! I like the team to look good on the field, na mean? Bahaha. Plus, it’s nice with clan boss to have the results look good on the board, so I’d alternate epics and legendaries to make all that gold and purple symmetrical too lmao.

@ASH The revive turn order is by RARITY first, then position order. Your example with Cardinal (position 3), if she is killed with Ba Satha (position 4), Ba Satha will be revived first. If those 2 plus Ignatius (position 1) die. Ignatius will be revived first, Ba Satha second, and Cardinal last.

This may be inherently understood, but the reverse is also true! Consider a starter like Kael, Kael is absolutely able to be a 6s farmer for campaign. The way to do this is to ensure he has a high enough base attack and crit damage and crit rate so that after he clears waive 1, his A2 ability will be able to wipe out all 4 enemies, because the damage he does to the champs (while random), actually targe in order, therefore if he is high enough, his A2 can essentially garuntee a wipe on all 4 champions from the spill over damage. I am not sure how other champs are but I presume this would be similar in attacking other champs as well. Thoughts? Maybe I am the only one who uses Kael as a farmer because I don't have fellhound where he needs to be. Maybe it should be on my list to get down in the next few weeks. (too many things to accomplish on a free 2 play ish account.
A reviver will Target Rarity first before team order just for the record, at least that is my experience, meaning that it doesn't matter what position Cardinal is in on the team on auto Scyl will revive legendary champions first
Definitely a save / fav video. I knew about the order as what AOE would hit who first, but a wow thats a ton more stuff I had no idea about. I usually just toss them in randomly after I figure out the lead. Thank you!

my NM clan boss team only works because the clan boss alternates between targetting ninja and doompriest (because Ninja is 1st and DP second and sometimes ninja has his perfect veil up for the stun), otherwise if he targets just one constantly then somebody dies too soon and it breaks the unkillable :) It is a very niche situation though but it helps me 1 key NM and use my other 2-3 keys to help kill UNM

Sorry to hear you are shopping for a car right now. Car market is rough in a lot of places due to shortages and dealers that have inventory are literally charging a mark up on top of the MSRP. I pray for you that you don't get ripped off. BTW I work at a dealer in sales and I normally lease my cars too, but RIGHT NOW due to mark up, prices and lack of specials, it is not the best option unless you are writing it off as a business expense, then lease is the way to go. Anyways, GL man!

I think the same thing with the turnmeter boost against Thormin happens for buffs too. If my Valk is high up in the order and she gets frozen, no one gets her buffs.

Little things like this that the game doesn't explain can make a huge difference. Look how many teams in Arena are not positioned correctly because they just don't know any better.
So… krisk in CB… i run in order Dutchess, Krisk, ninja, godseeker and occult b. Should i place im in the back for his ally protect? Is it more beneficial than having the decrease attack part of this puzzle? Heaalllp!!!!!

Deliana is another one that puts out an AoE strengthen when she drops below 50%. This way you can put it out right before the rest of the team gets hit by the same aoe. Vergis will target whoever is in lead with his buff skill or the champ in second if he himself is lead
NewBee here and I KEEP hoping for some information on what I can do as a new player. As for this video - I checked every champion I have but I don't think any of them have a passive that does anything other than for themselves. So My question is: Can I make an order of my champions that would work better? I have One Legendary champion naturally I have Ronda at level 50. I have 15 Epics. Of those I've got Luria lvl 60, Genbo the Dishonored-50, and Morag Bronzelock-50 as they were my first epics. Several of the others are level 40 but I won't list them now. Elhain my starting champion is 50 along with Warpriest. The reason Luria is lvl 60 and not one of the others is she was doing better for me with damages and staying alive. Ronda sometimes beats Luria on staying alive but not often. I normally use Ronda in the first position, for her Aura Skill, and Luria in the second and I try the others listed in various other slots. Seems like my best is Ronda, Luria, Elhain and Warpriest, in that order. Also most of their gear/artifacts are just 3*. Sure there are a few 4* but not very many. I've finally gotten up to the Brutal, and 10's in the Keeps and other dungeons. I have yet to get a Banner for Luria I have several other flags but not a single Dark Elf one. Any suggestions? Advice? I'm FTP so there is that limitation as well. ***Edited to change Flag for Luria to Banner.
Just got my day 80 log in reward but I feel like I’m not as far in as I should be and I’m not sure how to improve. I 3 starred all of brutal but nightmare completely brickwalled my set up, I ran out of turns on palace of Aravia stage 3. My current team set up is Deliana, Truath, Ultimate Death Knight and Errol. D, T and UDK are level 60 Errol is 50 since I’m not sure if he’s worth investing further in and the only other Lego I have is Chaagur who I just got from the page 9 artifact challenge void shard. I have 32 ancient shards saved up since I’m waiting for an event to pull them, but I don’t know when I should pull them all or what to focus on currently. I feel a bit lost currently since I don’t know what to focus on next to improve/how to get more/better champions. Any and all tips would be appreciated.
I have a fk 10 team where my slowest champ always takes her turn last. When the team gets to the boss, all the sudden the slowest champ goes 2nd! I made sure there is no skill or masteries that boosts Gwendolyn's turn to make her go 2nd. No turn meter boost in materies or any of the team's skills and masteries. What could possibly be doing this? Why is my slowest champ going second when she gets to the boss?

On counter atk teams champs like zargala should be early to place weaken on the a1 before everyone else.

So what would this mean for geomancer and his position in a clan boss team? should he be in position 1 or near the back?
