Fair enough tho it does look more like an overnight car ferry (which it is) compared to an actual cruise so am confused why it was advertised that way. But still a great video so keep up the work. 👍
@benmiller. Just found your channel today Ben . Love your content matey, keep up the awesome work entertaining us . I truly hope you grow massively as a channel. You’re going to do really well my friend. Cherish the memories with your parents / family , as I lost my father when I was 5 years old . He was an Officer in the Israeli Navy / Israeli Defence Forces, and was very sadly murdered in a terrorist attack . I so wish I could be doing things like you’re doing with your father / relatives etc . Warmest regards, Dr.Kästien, Tel Aviv , Israel 🇮🇱. Ps, if you ever come to Israel , I’d gladly show you
Please do not get confused, this is P&O ferries, what wherever it was advertised as. The ferry company is very different to P&O cruises, which is owned by Carnival . The cruise line that tried to sack its staff is owned by a UAE based company.
The second room is the regular size, at least for a ferry, on cruise ships, you usually get some extra space. The bathroom is the same size though. Yours is just bigger because it's an accessible room hence the extra space in the cabin and bathroom. Also, on a real cruise, most of the food is usually included and there is lots of entertainment, different bars, pools etc. You should try it, would love to see a review of it.
I'm really keen to give this a try - I've seen a lot of marketing of this product as a 'Mini Cruise', and couldn't believe the prices that they were charging. Thanks for taking us with you, and it's worth stressing that P&O Ferries and P&O Cruises are two very different companies, with two very different products!
Because the Dutch have four major cities around the “Green Heart” (Amsterdam/Rotterdam/Utrecht/The Hague) plus others like Haarlem Delft and Leiden nearby, they have a more decentralized urban setup than places that place all their eggs in one basket.
I know they fired all the UK staff on their UK registered ships, but one of the Hull-Rotterdam ferries is registered in The Netherlands; did they also fire the Dutch (and Indonesian) staff?
Looking at Hull from Canada through your video, it looks pretty appealing. I’d emigrate immediately site unseen if I was given the go ahead from your immigration department
As others have stated you went on a ferry with P&O Ferries. No connection with P&O cruises which is an entirely different company. You need to be very careful using "cruise" in this context and state the non connection. Carnival (the American parent company of P&O cruises UK) might have something to say about it.
That was P&O Ferries, which is a totally different company to P&O cruise company which has nothing to do with the sacking of the ferry company crew.. This video is about a P&O ferry, not the cruise company.
Dude your room and bathroom will obviously be bigger than the others as it's a disabled friendly room. They aren't going to give someone what wheelchair a standard room.
I book cruises quite regularly. P&0 have a good offering for the price. But it's the staff that provide the experience, even if we dont see it directly. I'm not planning on booking any p&0 cruises again after what they did.
@@mikeh2006are you confusing P&O Ferries (the operator of the ferry in the video) with P&O Cruises? They've been separate companies for a long time. The cruise line is part of the American Carnival Corporation.
@@stephenc6648 yes I mean the ferries they operate that leave from Hull. We are going to Amsterdam in November but not using them. I knew p&o ferries were separate to p&o cruises but I didn't realise they weren't owned by carnival. I went with them for the first time back in 1998 or 1999 and I think they were essentially the same then? Otherwise I'm not sure why I thought it
For everyone wondering, it was advertised as a mini-cruise
Fair enough tho it does look more like an overnight car ferry (which it is) compared to an actual cruise so am confused why it was advertised that way. But still a great video so keep up the work. 👍

Not blaming you but they have no busness advertising that as a cruise .
Precisely. You can't compare the two.
It's a ferry line NOT a cruise line! Nobody would take a cruise on a ferry line like P&O. P&O cruises is not associated with the ferry company.
That was a ferry trip
That’s not a cruise - it’s a ferry massive difference
Another adventure for you Ben. I like your down to earth reviews. They are interesting and informative. Well done lad!

We'd give that a bash! It's a ferry, but it sails and travels so we'd be up for it. Not a bad cabin for a ferry. Cool video 🍻
Really surprised me. Thanks 🙏
P&O ferries are not the same company as P&O Cruises.
I was dreading the room but that looks kinda find and at least you have a wee window
Hi from Texas, USA, great video.
Texas wow... thank you
Ben looks like you got a accessibility room hence the extra space..p&o ferries are not a cruise line.
Yeah seems like it. This was advertised as a mini-cruise to us
I always enjoy your video's Ben. Well done.
Appreciate it

Fantastic........great LEFT handed eating also...thats a really big plus.......interesting video...thanks
I'm left handed so that explains it haha
@@benmiller. Us left handed people should unite..........😁😆
Great vlog ben
Thanks!
Amsterdam is not the capital city of Holland. I believe that The Hauge is the capital city
They actually have two capital cities. Amsterdam is the traditional capital, while The Hague (Den Hag) is the administrative capital.
@@ShanePalmer-yo4ogYup, Holland is weird like that.
@@erik_griswold But it is a lovely country to visit
Great video!
Thanks!
I love cruising on proper cruise ships but tbh it didn't look that bad
Bad luck , rainy , but ferry looks fine
Pretty cool I’d give that a bash
Underrated asf
Appreciate it man ❤️
P&O cruises are amazing. Not like the ferry you were on. Try a cruise. It’ll be a totally different video on your return.
Noooooo Why end so sooon !!!!! good vid tho man keep it up
Longer videos will be coming soon 👀
Standard cabin???
Generally like a dog box!!!
Why do people think Ben got the wrong company? The new articles were clearly about P&O Ferries. Anyway, it turns out P&O Cruises are just as bad.
Good vlog but that buffet price was a rip off
I know right 😂
It’s a ferry you went on a car ferry masquerading as a cruise …. Its a garbage money spinner for a ferry line
cabin
😋
Thumbs down from me. Very misleading as this isnt a cruise. Its a ferry crossing! 🤦🏼♂️
PnO ferries is not the same company as PnO cruises.
Could have been worse , you could have stayed in Hull 😂😂😂
Hull is much safer now! Since they knocked down the Eldon Grey and that bloody parrot! Lol.😂
@tdr2512, where was the Eldon Grey?. There was the Earl de Grey but that was still there the other week
it's a sea taxi 😂

1/2 hour on the bus more like 2 hours
did turn out to be that
Subscribe, 10k subs by the end of the year? 🤔
You deserve to get to 10K
The more you've done the better they've become, keep it up.
I will never sail with P&O again after what they did to the crew and staff 😢
That was P&O Ferries, which is a totally different company to P&O cruise company which has nothing to do with the sacking of the ferry company crew.. This video is about a P&O ferry, not the cruise company.
Great video as always, ended abruptly though 😅
Thanks you, longer videos will be coming soon.
Not a Cruise Ship.
Is this guy serious. Have you ever been outside your front door before this trip????.
Dude your room and bathroom will obviously be bigger than the others as it's a disabled friendly room. They aren't going to give someone what wheelchair a standard room.
Good video😊
Two different companies! Ferry trip versus a cruise…not even a genuine comparison.
Very well made!
Appreciate it, thanks 🙏
Speechless - it’s not a cruise and it’s not the capital city ! What a total muppet. 😂
It just is the capital though…
Only a ferry, you should try a proper cruise ship, you will be delighted.
I’m amazed you’ve not heard from P&O cruises lawyers
It's literally advertised as a mini-cruise by P&O ferries
This is a ferry not a cruise
A ferry not a cruise
I wouldn’t use P&O if they were giving the tickets away. They treated their staff appallingly. I hope the bosses rot in hell.
I book cruises quite regularly. P&0 have a good offering for the price. But it's the staff that provide the experience, even if we dont see it directly. I'm not planning on booking any p&0 cruises again after what they did.
