I love Saint Francis. You know the Sultan just shook his head and said ( in Arabic probably..."This guy..."😔) but so what? Francis spoke peacefully to him. Politely. Maybe we should judge the success of the mission by how peacefully it went down. Sultan probably realized that martyrs were soooo not good for his side. He played it right, to his credit. He was every bit as gracious and gentlemanly as Salah ed Diin. Turned out to be good publicity for two wildley opposing sides, a diplomatic win-win.
