This is gonna sound stupid, especially now, but I discovered this song shortly after it was released because I let youtube auto play and that's how I find new music. Well, I immediately loved it. This is back when it only had a few thousand views and a hand full of likes. I was thrilled a couple years ago or whenever it was that this went viral and I already knew what it was. I saw the original one before the captions with the song title and artist were added.

Ocean Avenue is in the same key but doesn't follow the same progression. Ocean Avenue in A Major uses the sequence of V vi IV for majority of the song.

It’s weird hearing save me a spark without a really high pitched voice. You have a really good voice!
He has his guitar a step down thats why his capo's on the 4th fret but simply its E, C, G, D but you need a capo on the 3rd fret of a standard guitar. As for strumming patterns just make ur own groove. Usually down, down, up, up, down, up.
This is a perfect example of how simple this genre is to play.
