Swain R does NOT do more damage the closest enemy. The damage at 3:20 was cheap shot doing 45 true damage from the R2 slow. Also an easy way to land E is throw it at groups of minions or players since it roots in a small AOE where it detonates.

All basics stuff, but I agree, the only only I disagree is the positioning in team fights, you can go in the middle after the tank so you can hit the backlane if possible ( after building Zhonyas)

If you're winning the fight you can play more aggressively, but when you use Zhonya and your team can't kill the enemy team during that time, I disagree.

Wildcard build: start tear, build rylai's > jak'sho > seraphs

Swain is more Durable then most Tank's anyway. Name me a Tank who gets 1200 Bonus Hp from a passive and also Heals 500 per second. Malphite, Nautilus, Blitzcrank are less durable, besides the early game, Wich is Swain weakest point.

@@DailyDoWell I find that early Doran's ring helps him bully the early laning phase better, and avoid getting killed too. Then Tear on 1st back. But since his early game is his weakest point, I don't like skipping a Doran's item to make him weaker.
(Otherwise I agree totally with the build !)

@@blop-a-blop9419 Jak'sho isn't as optimal anymore. These days I like running Phase Rush, Tear start, rush RoA if there are 1 or less tanks / 2 or less bruisers. Otherwise Liandry's is still best. Seraphs 2nd and then Ryali's.
The ability to kite is strong with this one. You can proc phase rush with E + auto.
The Phase Rush potential from lvl 1 really helps early sustain because it allows you to take unfair trades. MS is really strong for dodging abilities or running out of AA range.

I saw you are an otp. Try font of life rune with Rylais . You will see 4-5k healing most games. I have gotten it up to 10k healing for teammates. Crazy

At 3:20, that's just wrong. The R damage is the same no matter how close or far the target is to Swain, they just have to be in range

I am talking about the R2 damage not R. It deals more damage to the first target, look more closely.

@@Evvelyx It doesn't increase the R2 damage. It's the same damage to all targets, the only difference being the time it takes for R2 to reach the target, therefore making the damage per second higher, but not the damage itself.
