    Having been inside the cabin of the Nissan Terra, Toyota Fortuner & Mitsubishi Montero, I would say that in terms of spaciousness the Terra and Fortuner wins handsdown by 3-4" wider than the Montero at the 2nd row seat. Cosole, i like the Montero short shifter and layout. Dashboard material quality, the Fortuner is more luxurious than the 2. On the Driver's seat, the Terra is the best for big drivers among the 3.

    So another contender in the segment. These PPVs are all so similar, that pricing can not be ignored. And right now Montero is the best value of the bunch with a 250k discount on the GLS AT for the rest of 2018, which bring its current price down to just over 1,4M. Unsurpricingly Nissan is not offering that kind of discounts on their brand new Terra just yet.

      @fundiver198 6 лет назад

      @@w1ldm4n82 Yeah I know. I suspect these to be discounted in future promos, as Nissan continue to fight for a larger market share in Philippines. To be honest Nissan dont have that many other selling points than price, especially compared to Toyota and Honda.

    • @w1ldm4n82
      @w1ldm4n82 6 лет назад +3

      fundiver198 i think your statement is somewhat biased sir. nissan here is not just as popular as either honda or toyota. to be honest, even toyota, aside from aftersales service and reliability, ay wala ding other selling points eh tapos ang mahal naman kumpara sa iba kahit scrimped naman ito pagdating sa features. people just buy them mainly because they're so plenty on the streets. sometimes kaya ang hirap din ma-impress ng mga pinoy dahil sa ganitong klase ng mentality eh.

    most of you seemed to be more concerned with aesthetics rather than performance and safety and comfort. i disagree with that. you cant have everything you want in a car otherwise its going to be really really expensive. check out other reviews, some even made a head to head comparison with other hot selling SUV and guess who got the edge? its the TERRA. u can pimp your car with all the blings if thats what you want. but performance and riding comfort? i dont think so

    How about fuel consumption per liter/km? better than mux? durabilty wise?

    • @fundiver198
      @fundiver198 6 лет назад

      Unless you are planning to put 500.000 km on your new PPV, does it really matter? If you can afford the vehicle, you can also afford to put cheap diesel in the tank, and its not like, there will be huge differences in consumption from brand to brand.

    • @jaspereggs2749

      @@fundiver198 Its just that isuzu is the most fuel efficient vehicle, thats why im asking f this vehicle can at least achieve 13 or 15km/L?

    • @fundiver198
      @fundiver198 6 лет назад +2

      @@jaspereggs2749 In Europe the Isuzu D-max with the new 1,9 liter 150 hp engine is rated at 7,0 liter (MT) and 7,8 liter (AT) / 100 km consumption. The Navarra with the 2,5 liter 190 hp engine is rated at 6,3 liter (MT) and 6,9 liter (AT) / 100 km, so actually lower than the D-max.
      I am a bit surpriced, the Navarra score lower numbers with its bigger engine, and I would not be surpriced, if real world numbers were somewhat closer together. But at least there is nothing in the numbers to support the idea, that Isuzu make more efficient diesel engines than other manufacturers.

    • @jaspereggs2749
      @jaspereggs2749 6 лет назад +2

      @@fundiver198 F thats true, just wow, coz in my country, it is one of fuel guzzling car brand you could ever have and while isuzu is known for toughness and fuel efficient, even the DOE here can testify it. bdw, im hoping this car is different from there previous model i would like to consider this Suv.

    • @fundiver198
      @fundiver198 6 лет назад

      @@jaspereggs2749 These numbers are achieved under official tests, so its not like some countries, where manufacturers can just quote any numbers, they like. However Europe is currently in transition from one test cycle to another, and there might be some small adjustments, when the transition is completed at the end of 2018. But supposedly nothing major, since even values achieved under the old test regime should now be adjusted to reflect the expected impact of the new WLPT test regime.

    Terra provides good safety such as 6 air bags, blind spot warning, lane detection, all view camera, engine performance, riding comfort etc. but in Thailand, people look at interior/exterior rather than safety and performance so Terra sale volume is not very well. They want its look more luxurious than normal pickup truck so Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport are 1st and 2nd best seller in Thailand.

    All the current competitor have terrible design. Fortuner looks so effeminate, Montero/Pajero-sport has very ugly rear, and Mu-x/Trailblazer with its mismatching sides. Everst look great, but should've looked more boxy like its american cousins, Expedition and Explorer.
