1 A Defect can lead to a Failure.A Failure can lead to Frustration. 2 Quality of software can be described with bug fee or defect free software 3According to the Pareto Law, which also goes by the 80/20 rule, 80% of the output in a certain situation or a process will be determined by 20% of the input that goes in.
1. Difference between defect and failure System may has an unknown defect, until defect become a damaging failure. 2. Definition of quality The degree to which a component or system satisfies the stated and implied needs of its various stakeholders 3. Testing principle (Poreto) 80 percent bugs are hiding in 20 percent of system. P.s. wanna t-short)
1. A defect is a flaw that can cause a failure. A failure is the difference between what was expected and the actual outcome. 2. Quality is the degree to which a component, system or process meets specified requirements and/or user/customer needs and expectations. 3. It's assotiated with the principle of defect clustering. According to the principle, 20% of the code contains 80% of bugs.
My answers for the quiz are: 1. Defect is a product non-compliance to the requirements, whereas a failure is an event in which a product (or its components) does not perform a required function. Defects may lead to failures. 2. Quality is the degree of a product compliance to the stakeholder needs and specified requirements. 3. Pareto priciple in testing looks like, 80% of all defects can be found in 20% of software modules, that is related to the defect clustering testing principle.
Hi all, there are answers for the quiz: 1. Defect can be simply defined as a variance between expected and actual founded by testers. When a failure is the inability of a software system or component to perform its required functions. Failure is a defect that reaches the end customer. 2. According to the ISTQB Glossary of Testing Terms quality is the degree to which a component, system or process meets specified requirements and/or user/customer needs and expectations. 3. Pareto principle assotiated with the principle of defect clustering. According to the 80/20 principle, 80% of defects are usually found in 20% of the source code. That's it. See you next Thursday)
Answering the quizz questions : 1-a defect in a product reflects its inability to comply to the specified requirements and a failure is the result of having a defect 2-the degree to which a product , system or process meets specified requirements and users' expectations 3- the testing principle that the Pareto principle is associated with is that defects cluster together and that 80% of bugs are present in 20% of code.
Hello, thank you for showing interest in our videos. Our courses are focused on ISTQB certification board programs and currently there are no plans for videos on other programs.
Dear the way you described everything shows your clear state of mind. Just one question i have in my mind. I have only done my graduation Ba (p) course and I have worked in my life in a call center environment. I am 43 year old and I do not want to take lot of risk. I have neither done BTECH nor I have studied programming language and also I have taken arts stream in class XII. Can I still do this software testing course specially manual testing along with this certificate and Jira . Or what do you suggest ? Pls guide . Thanks for taking time to read.
Thank you for your attention to our course! If you would like to learn more about our vacancies and understand what you need to get started in testing, read the description of the junior software tester job here: exactpro.com/careers/tbilisi/junior-software-tester
Hi, and thanks for your question. While creating our ISTQB video series, we meant to better illustrate the material with real-life examples. This series is by no means a substitute for the official ISTQB syllabus. In addition to the syllabus, we also recommend reading Rex Black's Foundations of Software Testing for a more detailed take on the theory. Thank you again for the comment, and best of luck with your test!
principal number 1 you can never ever prove that covid has exited the population therefore if you base policy on its elimination, you will have an endless supply of illegitimate authorisations to do as you please to reach a clandestine objective. #5thGenWarfare
Useless crap ISTQB. Don't matter. At the end, common sense is what we have to use to deliver a quality software after testing it. We must do it as clients want it, Full-stop! Everynbody is being a snob! Making their own frameworks "AGILE". In my opinion and after years of testing experience, it is all Bubu!

Great analogy with Principle #1 and finding earth like planets. Makes for a good mindmap
I thought the same thing! Definitely a highlight in this lesson 👽
1. Difference between defect and failure
System may has an unknown defect, until defect become a damaging failure.
2. Definition of quality
The degree to which a component or system satisfies the stated and implied needs of its various stakeholders
3. Testing principle (Poreto)
80 percent bugs are hiding in 20 percent of system.
P.s. wanna t-short)
Спасибо, Дима , очень нравится твоя подача :3
Может получиться отличный курс. Хорошо бы ещё текс выкладывать.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thanks for the upload and yes, I subscribed!
a tip : you can watch movies on kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Armani Zayne yup, I've been watching on kaldrostream for since december myself :)

FANTASTIC SIR!!!!
Vaas from Far Cry 3 teaches testing principles
Could you please do a video - CTAP certified Test Automation professional? Or do you know where I can find information about it?

Тарахтелка. Я тоже умею так быстро читать текст с суфлера, но устная речь на такой скорости лично у меня плохо воспринимается
Thank you for your interest in our video series. You may slow down the video playback speed in your RUclips settings. Enjoy!
