I'm sitting here, major goosebumps, just WOW, WOW!!! Angelina was the first time I ever heard this song, so yes, unfortunately, I missed out on a lot of different genres of music. Jazz & The Blues being two of them. I absolutely love how Angelina's stage stance, she commands, without trying, and to be perfectly honest, she doesn't even know how amazing she is on stage, her presence is undeniable. I've listened to both Nina Simone, and Buble sing this same song, and o know it's Nina's song, but I'm sorry Angelina made this her sing right here, right now with this performance. I love all of her songs when she was young, amazing!!

There are 2 or 3 songs she did when she is about five years old in a recording studio. One she is giving a house tour and shows them her “not so good” pink guitar then spontaneously playing and singing Rolling in the Deep.

Greetings from Wisconsin, USA! Another great reaction, as usual! I recently turned 65 and I grew up as a child in the 1960's, a teenager in the 1970's, and I remember listening to my parent's generation of music from the 30's, 40's and 50's... Music has always been an important part of my life, even though I myself have no real musical talent. I simply love those who have that blessing to be able to play and write and sing great music. All the way through to today, I simply love great songwriting, musicianship, singing, arranging, etc. I can safely say there has never been anyone quite like Angelina Jordan. Her vocal versatility is simply beyond anyone else. I enjoy music across the spectrum from some classical vocals, through all the different genres of popular music in virtually any era, but there is no artist I listen to EVERY DAY, except Angelina. I feel blessed that I have lived long enough to hear her. Blessings to you and yours from here in Wisconsin! Tell them all you love them, for me. Thank you!

Thank you for another reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. And, congratulations to you: for you are one of the very few reactors of the over 1,600 who have featured Angelina who has recognised that she always p,ays resect to the original singer. She did this at the age of 7 on her audition at Norway's Got Talent and has continued to do so since then.
There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed.
(1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice.
(2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move.
(3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus.
(4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance.
(5) That wonderful crescendo at the end.
(6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance
(7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand.
(8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 6.50 in your reaction video.
(9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!"
(10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who,curseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause.
Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

I'm truly amazed that you've already uncovered part of what makes Angelina's performances so "magical'. Looking forward to many more of your Angelina reactions. I know you're going off a list - but to learn more about Angelina as a person, I highly recommend her interview with Ann Lindmo, NRK TV when Angelina was 9. Hi, my first time watching your channel. This is one of my very favorite performances of Angelina. So good! You said you had 7 more videos to watch, but do you know there are over 200 on You Tube by now, and she’s coming out with an album of original songs very soon as well. If you haven’t yet, be sure to watch her 4 performances on Norway’s Got Talent at age 7/8 so you can see that this is a God given gift, not manufactured. Enjoy!

Of course you caught that little half smile she gave the camera as it circled around her. I appreciate very much all your comments because when musicians and singers speak about her they are usually in awe of her and her talent stands on it's own but when you consider her age it's mind boggling. Yes, you were right on target when you said she was humble. She sings FOR US, not to us. If you slide away from the musical end of things for a moment or two you will get a good idea of who she is as a person and that will literally blow your mind as well. I haven’t played any gigs or even have a talent for it. But I love music from classical, metal, and even country (Some) but jazz and blues is my favorite! This child now a woman had me when by accident I saw her NGT Gloomy Sunday and I was instantly hooked! She is a precious gift that I value above material ones! How blessed are we that we can witness and enjoy this gift?
She is always respectful not only to the song but to the artist.

Look up her version of Diamonds Are Forever. It’s a live performance outdoors and her hair is very full and frizzy looking. There is more added production to the sound , but I absolutely love it. She doesn’t have anything in her hair. There is another video where she has a flower headband on.

While at 10 years old you have to react to her fan made video of the demo of a new song she was asked to do. "I'm Still Holding Out For You". This is generally considered in her top 5 because it's so extraordinary. It was an amazing collaboration between writer, Baby FuzZ, and the vocalist Angelina Music Jordan.

You really missed WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKÈ. It was a huge outdoor concert and she has back up singers. She is 8. It is the first thing I saw after her NGT win all those years ago. It is spine chillingly good.

Very nice reaction and analysis! Thank you for picking up on the fact that many of her fans have known that she wants the focus to be on the song lyrics/story and not the vocals. A number of people in the music business have said that her biggest strength as a singer is that she is a great storyteller who knows how to pull the emotions and feelings out of a song. I guess that's one of the reasons why whenever we listen to her, we get chills, goosebumps, and a bit emotional when we hear her sing. I've been listening to music for over 40 years and this young lady is the only singer that almost consistently hits me in the feels...it's crazy!
Sir, Angelina herself said, she has to sing to humans. IMHO she was sent to us to bring light in this dark world. Also, when you practice singing since age 3 or 4 for 36 hours weekly you know exactly what you can do with your voice. A renown music teacher as well as others said, "she could give masterclasses in singing at age 10". As well as being a musical genius. Imagine a wellrespected conductor in his 40s asks advice from a 11 yo Angelina, YES, I thought so.

@@ArabManReacts Sir, I did not want to sound like a teacher, but i try to offer what I learned about her. I know... she is a marvel, but she is a very intelligent one. And she is a shrewd woman, knowing exactly, what the people want to hear. With all that was given to her by God/Allah or the universe, she is still a humble soul and very patient with her co musicians. By chance I saw her at a rehearsal, where the keyboarder did not understand what that 11 year old exactly wanted. So she gently asked him to let her sit at his keyboard and played what we had nor understood. Yes the face of him, then he remembered who she was.... The National Treasure of Norway, Noble Woman of Norway for a reason.

Because Angelina is about the music & not herself, she only uses whatever vocal tools are needed to interpret that song, rather than some singers you described that use every tool in their toolbox in every song they sing. For that reason it takes about 50-60 songs from many different genre of music until you've seen most her skills. Even then she will surprise you with something you've never heard her do before.
