Everything you said applies for programmers as well. Get started and put your work out. If someone is ready to pay, make it no matter how good or bad it is.
This was absolutely amazing! I am 26 and just graduated from uni last year. Immediately after graduating, I realized that I didn't want to get a traditional job or sit in an office from 9 to 5, but I had no idea where to start! You have literally articulated so many of the thoughts I've had about work and the type of career I want to create for myself .. I want to do work that excites me, is flexible, allows me to be creative and doesn't stress me out 😅(beyond the minimum stress level of completing tasks) I think it is soo cool that you got into this early and I am grateful that you decided to share your experiences with us 😊 I look forward to building a freelance career that is literally a work of art and living a life that suits me... Anyway, thanks again, Abhinav.
Thank you for this! Motivated me enough to create an Upwork profile, spend 2-3 days applying for Upwork jobs and just landed my first design gig. Inspired by you :)
I cant tell you how much this video means to me. I'm a second year computer science student studying in bangalore. All my time, i mean since class 11 i have always been searching a way any hint to find a work which matches my passion. In my first year, despite being a good student i dint want to study at all. nothing about the course and how everyone was running in the crowd made me excited. in fact it demotivated me every second. Because no matter how much i tried to code, it was boring. although i can code but.... i dont find that drive u know. I have always been a very creative person. i love the beauty in things. But never got the courage to choose it as my field. And today i was just searching "how to make your passion your career" and somehow ended up on this video. There's a very strong feeling inside that now i know what is meant for me!! omg what was i doing all this time! Thank you so much for sharing this!!
