- This documentary takes us in southern Algeria, in the red desert of the regions of Touat and Gourara, in Timimoun « the flamboyant », one of the most beautiful oasis in Africa, dedicated to foggaras (an ancient irrigation system, deeply respectful of the environment but vulnerable to loss by modern techniques which are far less so) and men and women who try to uphold their tradition.

God made you and gave you life. He told us what to do with our lives. But we haven’t done with our lives when he commanded, which is to love him with all our heart mind soul and strength and to love our neighbours ourselves, even to love our enemies. Because we haven’t done with our lives what he commanded our lives are outstanding debt to him.
This debt must be paid because God is just. The debt won’t be simply scrubbed or removed without payment, because God is true. But God wants to forgive us because he is love. How does he forgive us that debt is just true? How does he get payment of a debt, if he is loving towards us?
The answer is that God paid our debt. On the cross, the eternal Word of God, who made us and gave us life, died on the cross for us sins. The eternal Word of God that we disobeyed entered human flesh and suffered death in the body of a man. Jesus is the eternal Word of God in a human body. Because he entered human flesh, his sacrifice is on behalf of humans. Because he is the eternal Word of God, he could not stay dead and broke the power of death over us.
Jesus rose on the third day, because death cannot hold the eternal Word of God.
