After breaking branches for probably 2 - 3 days straight, I believe this is what started our numerous incidents, which culminated in 3 face to face encounters in Connecticut. 2 of them were in our kitchen window which really scared her. My Dad 82nd Airborne Paratrooper sprang a trap on what he thought was neighborhood pranksters. When my sister screamed the second time my dad jumped outside and sprayed it with a hose he placed right near the kitchen door. It was probably 10 feet away from him and then lunged at him then went back into the woods. Being raised on a nearby farm, and now a Bronze Star combat decorated Trooper, he was not afraid of too much, but did come back in the house a little shook up and said that was big whatever it was, and it wasn't the neighbors. After this he bought a 7.62mm bolt action rifle and kept it and a box of ammo near the kitchen door for quite a while. My Mom the Peacemaker, started leaving fruit and vegetables on a nearby stump. Following this,we started finding little piles of stones near the house, once right near the kitchen door. Not Montana, not Russia, but in Connecticut, really something.
If hominids are noted for anything, it's a WIDE range of behaviour. Some shy, some not. The fact a female human with two children were present would almost certainly put any one at ease. Remember, it's most likely these animals see us far far more than we see them, and curiosity is a survival advantage, certainly if you are an omnivore, and in adulthood, BIG.

There are no set in stone rules for any animal. Especially primates.
@@billyjones5091honestly, if the Sasquatch’s muscles are more apelike than manlike, it could probably over power a grizzly. Apes and great apes have absolutely ridiculous strength.
@@Snoopaloop1981 thanks for the response and the information about the strength of apes. And you’re right I even heard that chimpanzees are 3 to 5 times stronger than man.
Curiosity is a survival advantage? Idk if I agree with that. Curiosity can get you killed very easily in a lot of instances. You hear a noise and want to investigate because you’re curious, but sometimes staying put and remaining hidden can save your life! If you aren’t known to exist are good at remaining hidden, your survival will be a lot easier. You won’t be widely hunted if no one knows you exist.
Is Finding Bigfoot coming back on TV? Discovery plus anything? Sure would like to watch them more.

The reason I hate these shows is that there always has to be a “naysayer,” always a “scientist,” who’s saying out one side of her mouth that the idea of Bigfoot is ridiculously stupid, but when she hears about the curious female watching the mother and children, she immediately says, “If there is one, it wouldn’t behave that way.” WTF???
