- TommyInnit is one of the funniest RUclipsrs on the platform. But how does he do it? Today I'm going to be explaining just what makes TommyInnit so funny. By exploring many of his funniest and most iconic videos I narrowed it down to 4 categories all of which are very important to his success and why he blew up. The ego he has is actually realistic, and works with the rest of his personality. He’s gonna be arrogant, he’s just a kid yet he gets to play games with people who’re so much larger than his fan base is. I think the way he plays the innocent cards is hilarious and adds to each situation. Over all I think that he clearly knows how he can improve every conversation with his jokes and comedy.

He works his ego perfectly as an online bit and isn’t actually arrogant at all it’s just a bit. In real life he said he actually doesn’t like people finding out about his channel or flexing it which really shows how humble he is especially considering he’s one of the fastest growing streamers on twitch and RUclips while still being a 16 year old.

This is why the “Unload the Dishwasher” moment from recent Dream SMP streams happened. Tommy knew it would be hilarious, even if it was at his expense, so he yelled back to his mom straight from his chair, still on stream, not even muting himself. He knew it would be good content.

That was one of the funniest unexpected situations I saw. Mom calls Tommy to unload the dishwasher and he screams at her something like "I'm live, mom, I'm in the middle of the war!!!". Everyone in the game heard it and they all laughed for good 10 seconds.

He really is unique, any other person and he would be hella annoying, but he's just not. Despite all of the shouting and yelling, he sets up jokes really well and bounces of other people really well. All of that said though, I think a lot of his success is his based on his luck with being with the perfect friends. Him and Wilbur are the perfect combo, him and Pokimane's "mother" relationship is hilarious.

I think that one of the main reason for the success ofTommyinnit is his energy. Every stream, if we ignore his recent sad storyline streams, is high energy and this never fails to lift my mood. It's one of the factors that sets him apart from many other gaming channels. Even after some long 9 hour days at school, he still mainstains the same level of energy and this is really talented.

This video really changed my mind about Tommy. I've always seen him as a funny and just hotheaded person. But now I see, he is potential to manipulate people. He can just analyze their personalities and fit in. He just changes his personality it's impressive. Now I see him as a intelligent person who knows how to hide it while using it, it's brilliant. Everyone is just talking about him being the god of comedy or just how funny he is. But this video showed me more then his humor, he can be really powerful if he wants. I don't think I'll see him as just the funny guy ever again.

this is literally the whole point of comedy, not in the jokes themselves, but in the punchline, the timing. i wouldn't call it manipulation but you need indeed to be very observant to understand which type of humor will land and which will not. that's why wilbur said that even though Tommy is 16 if he'll try himself in big comedy like stand up or so he will definitely have a big future

I think one of Tommy’s greatest attributes is his attitude as a schemer; whilst everyone talks about the wars and drama of the the Dream SMP the majority of Tommy’s content are practically sketch comedy-Tommy comes up with some new business or building project with some absurd twist and plays off whomever he’s working with-this also extends to him plotting bigger operations like the Disc War and the Cartel Heist. These are really funny events because Tommy creates immediately this episodic formula where he is the main character trying to scrap or scam the public whilst dealing with the shenanigans of the other SMP members. It’s truly very well crafted for essentially improvisational comedy.
