I can’t believe there’s “fans” that actually would rather start T.Lance over Dak, that’s absolutely insane to me. If they were going to do that, then you might as well go full rebuild because T.Lance still needs a ton of development, just to even see if he can be a competent starter in the NFL.
So, what has Dak Prescott done for this organization besides winning NFC East championships. Is that the goal? To win NFC East championships and that's it? Why not start Lance? Dakhas done nothing in 9 years besides command a high salary. I for one and a little bit tired of the same song and dance with this team. It's time to see who else can't command this ship and take us where we want to go because this current quarterback is doing nothing but patting up regular season stats. I for one don't want that. I want championships. Criticizing Mike McCarthy’s decision-making is a joke. Trey Lance was the main problem. The 4th-and-goal fade was only “low percentage” BECAUSE Trey Lance was throwing the ball. The WR was wide open. It should have been a routine TD. Sure, McCarthy “could have” called a play more suited to Trey’s strength. But Trey’s strengths don’t even make him a viable backup QB. He needs reps where he’s required to make starting-caliber NFL QB throws in critical situations.
NFL network coverage was the worst. Worst part was how the camera was zoom in....I felt like it was too zoomed in or something. Plus the graphics were huge cutting off too much of the screen....just odd overall.
We cannot have a defensive line pass rush in their own space. We need one two or three guys other than Parsons to get to the quarterback. Not just talking pressure but actually finishing the play and getting to the quarterback.
I totally agree it was a waste of a game to let Lance play it out, they should of made Dak play and show he recovered from his complete mental collapse last year. He should be out there showing he's worth the max contract he keeps pushing. Saving him for the regular season makes no sense at this point knowing he'll only do good enough to ruin our draft spot. I think you are too quick to judge off a preseason game with a basic game plan with third stringer's who couldn't block at all, and a lot drops
