Using Argus with no boots it's not about how you chase the enemy, it's about finishing them before they run away! ^^
Don't be Afraid to not using Boots for Argus, it's just 15-20 movement speed points difference from the build I made compared to a Swift Boots Stats.
Swift Boots Stats :
40 Movement Speed
Corrosion + Windtalker :
5 + 20 Movement Speed
25 Movement Speed is Enough, But you got more Attack Speed from Windtalker Instead!
So, Would you have a High Attack Speed with Normal Movement Speed or have a Higher Attack Speed with Lower Movement Speed?
The Choice is yours! ^^
Would be valid to buy the boots on the beggining,but then sell them on the late?(to complete the build)

40 percent and plus 40 movement are totally different.For Heros having base movement speed of over 100 will have automatically more speed in 40 percent compared to plus 40

The best build actually to burst every one is trinity +sea helberd +melefic roar and you can use windtalker instead of boots and with assassin emblem
Actually the build that top 1 argus Hoshiguma uses melts even tanks since argus passive ignores 40% armor and I tried it myself it just deletes everyone

I've been using No boots argus since his 1st revamp. Its just better to not use boots on Argus at all to maximize his dps. But I'd say using Assassin Emblem(with movement speed, bargain/assassin, and either Quantum or Killing Spree) instead of Marksman is better.

My problem with no boots is that some heroes just have a lot of movement speed

No he needs the CRIT, attack speed and the movespeed + slow so this is the best choice as 2nd item
True but demon hunter sword gives you more lifesteal plus is good voor taking down tanks as argus main i can carfirm thay
@@Yisrael-en2xs haas Claws already gives you the best life steal + ton of attack speed and CRIT so you don't need DH, Argus already ignores 40% armor with his passive so as long as you're getting your passive faster ( which haas Claws does since it gives CRIT ) you'll melt even tanks especially with inspire

Could a no boots build work with Hanabi?
I never played hanabi in my life so I couldn't say but reason why it works so well with Argus is cause he has a 4 secs death immunity and has an insane burst with inspire the moment you land on a target and his skill 1 has a long dash so you should probably try it yourself and perhaps no boots is a sleeper meta 😏

Anyways,inspire scales with users 10% total physical attack,which most likely be above 80+ if we use the build,with the added 60 physical defense ignore,it totals ignore 140 defense.Most tanks has 230-250 physical,most hybrid fighters 160-200,eitherway inspire will help argus melt any enemy hero

btw i suggest you changing the second emblem to 1v1( the Assassin one) you may need a few more gold to buy items but you will destroy your own lane as am exp
