I was lucky enough to see Kevin perform in person twice, and lucky enough to get to meet him at one of those shows. His voice and his story were both beyond beautiful. The world lost a truly amazing man when we lost Kevin. If you don't mind me asking, how long before his passing was this performance?
You can tell he barely was holding it together in the first verse, can't blame him. The fear of the unknown future and I am guessing that he would hear sad stories of others lost too young from fans or others he would meet.
Always liked this song.but I became handicapped and in a wheelchair 7 yrs ago now.well just a yr ago yesterday,my ex wife from 17 yrs ago,contacted me on fb messenger.we chatted for a couple weeks and then face timed.i knew where I wanted and needed to be.so last Aug 6th she flew from Knoxville Tn to Waterloo IA and brought me back with her.well I gave her an engagement ring a couple months ago.and now just the other day she said it's over.that she doesn't love me the way that she should.not as a couple should.so this song is very very fitting at the moment. We're still in the same house and bed,but haven't kissed now in a week and she doesn't want me to touch her either.gawd I have such an empty spot in my heart right now. Any good ideas people?I love her whole heartedly

This guy definitely left his mark on this earth with all of his kindness and appreciation. He had a one of a kind voice who put his entire soul into his music. I sure wish country music would take notes from Kevin Sharp. Today we idolize terrible music from Brad Paisley and his biggest contribution to this earth is playing music for sharks on Shark Week.
This is truly sad to see him sick like that, I promise that I hope we are all able to remember the message he left us as well as the beautiful art that was his music... RIP brother..
