Accomplishments that people a hundred years ago couldn't have dreamed of, peace between the big European powers, incredible commitments to science and development. The EU is not perfect by any means but for such an incredible monolith of a project that's to be expected. That said, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

That part of the song is from Eugent Bushpepa, but he wasn't present during the video shooting, so it was "replaced" by one of the kids.

It's very difficult to develop beautifully singable, rhythmically suitable English lyrics to this great anthem. Hoping for a better version one day.
They didn't "produce" the lyrics, the lyrics are just pure translation of the original.

Nicely made video but pardon me: English lyrics sound absolutely horrible. Why don't stick to the original lyrics? Furthermore I don't understand what the kids stand for. They are just... kids. No relation to the lyrics, no obvious relation to any European country...

Also, I believe they made this in English because of this very simple reason; everybody, literally every single person in Europe, can understand English! People don't bother looking up for translations, but this way, everyone can understand the message.

It was produced by Albania’s representatives to the European Union. English is the predominant language spoken. Also English is one of the primary languages of the European Parliament (working language). Obviously German is covered quite well.

Europe has always been a continent in war together for thousands of years and to see such a unified era is remarkable. The European Union has, is and will always be symbol of how after centuries of darkship, we as humans and europeans can still find unity. Most anthems of the world talk about war and patriotism but Ode to Joy talks about peace, love, and unity... exactly what Europe is about. Viva Europa! (From Spain and Italy)
