Thank you for these videos. Just wished you had a newer basics video on how to manipulate the windows or adding touchscreens. I not being a lighting engineer had the worst time learning each screen or getting around the console. Coming from software based program no console. No basic directions how to operate the console like turning it off? Is safe to toggle off or know always turn on external touchscreen 1st before console. Would save hours of frustration!
when you did 701.1/8 (8:25) how did it know to do that for 702-708? Offset is an awesome tool I have been using some time now!! This video shows a good example of when it is convenient to use the VIEW BY DP MODE along with how labeling in your note column during patching saves time instead of trying to do it in your fixture pallete view. Think I'm finally convinced to change minor patch issues in soft patch instead of hard patch too lol.
If youre going to make a new video about this subject. Can you add multipatching (for instance adding multiple desk channel adresses to the same fixture for example with hall lights or such) and how to easily patch using raw dmx output, wich could be very usefull when there is no house technician around in a venue that you dont know the adresses of.
@@etcliveevents aahh thanks, i just watched the new video but that one does not tell me about the subjects i asked about in my first reaction. Thank you for the fast response though!
Next videos are out of date with newer version of operating systems. Wish you could update the basics to make it follow better with video.
