I think I might be late to the party, but these lectures are amazing! I don’t know much about the professor, but I feel like I’m in a true college course and I’ve enjoyed every episode in the series. This guy is amazing. A wealth of knowledge. There really are a lot of good things you can access online if you look hard enough.
I absolutely love this lecture series. Very informative and truly showcases how dynamic our planet Earth is. I have had many a-ha, wow and cool! moments throughout. Looking forward to the updated lectures and will continue the series while waiting for them.
Thank you so much. I don't want to discredit my professor because she's amazing but you fill in all her gaps when it comes to my study time. You singlehandedly made me unafraid of the 9 geo exams I needed to pass to graduate. God Bless You!
im very thankful that youve uploaded all these videos. im trying to build basic geological survey knowledge, so i may have a general idea of where i would want to build a shelter to protect humans from the impending climate change crisis.
Very intersting lectures and l learned a lot. Great lectures, well arranged slides. Fun to watch too. But it's been a while that people are starving for lecture 14,15,20&22. And they didn't come. Maybe even the old ones (not updated) are worth watching rather than waiting. I really love geology, specially for the topics related to mountains, and unfortunately, they are deleted. So please, please, please, add them if you can.
Hi, Prof. Paul, thanks for the video. At 3:30, you mentioned the ocean evaporation is 320000 km3 in hydrologic cycle. May I ask if the volume is for a day, or for a year?
Did anyone else tease you about how many times you said the two words actually and basically? LoL. Another great video even though I had to pause it a couple of times from distractions. I couldn't find the two videos before this one. Did you remove them?
Oh, ok. Thanks. It would have been interesting to see what changes have occurred as new discoveries alter our understanding. You couldn't just include them with messages indicating the discoveries? Just a thought.
always found it strange they called where the water exists, the mouth. I would think it would be called the butt lol. when i took all this stuff in university, it was always called the delta.

As a young man who's really passionate about Geo, let me tell you it's an incredible video. Looking forward to Uni.
Glad you enjoyed this.

I am definitely loving these courses, all the charts, not in any of the other YT online courses. Massively excellent.
The sound of hello guys welcome back makes me happy

It’s per year.
@@EarthandSpaceSciencesX Thanks for your answer. I watched some of your videos with my 6 year old son, and he enjoyed them too.
@@echosystemd I love that. Geology is for everyone!
Great video series. Where do you get your figures from?

thanks once again!
I finished 13 and couldn't find 14 or 15. Were they deleted?
They were pulled because they became out of date. I'll be making and posting some new videos soon...
Oh, ok. Thanks. It would have been interesting to see what changes have occurred as new discoveries alter our understanding. You couldn't just include them with messages indicating the discoveries? Just a thought.

Perhaps at some point I may do a complete series on Remote Sensing.
Where can i find 14,15,and 20?
They are currently offline and being updated.
please do you have something on crystallography and principle of metallurgy?
Not currently. There may be some decent videos on solid-state chemistry available from other people that may address your needs though.
