I can't wait to watch The Penguin series. Colin Farell is a fantastic actor and was great in The Batman. It's interesting how this series will expose the corruption and criminal activity in Gotham.
The Penguin is possibly the best live action Batman related thing I've ever seen. It's fucking perfect and I don't understand why The Batman movies have to be rated PG-13? There's no logical reason why they can't be rated R. People can make excuses all they want, but all of them are absurd. Deadpool, Logan and Joker are all proof that R rated comic book movies can be very successful. People would flock to theaters in droves to see an R rated Batman movie. Am I telling lies?

You can only show people being murdered to a certain extent with a PG-13 rating. When it comes to things like that the MPAA focuses more on how much blood is shown. With language it gets even more absurd. In a PG-13 movie you can say "f**k you" one time, but you can't call someone a "motherf**ker". What's the difference?! It's nonsense. Why not just make a Batman movie with the intentions of it being R rated? I mean Deadpool, Logan and Joker are proof that R rated comic book movies can be successful, so why not just do that?
@@Ahrths Those types of ratings doesn't even exist in the U.S. Here there's no such thing as PG-16. There's G, PG, PG-13, R and NC-17. Batman games are rated T for teen. None of the Batman games have ever been rated M for mature here in the states.
Please fix that stupid cowl and cape in The Batman II. As a lifelong Batman fan, I was totally put off by the horrible costume. But then again, "baby-teeth" Robert wasn't my casting choice. Batman needs a certain appearance, and Rob has not imho.

I have to agree with you there, man. My biggest complaint about Robert Pattinson is his age. He's 38 years old and playing a Batman who's only been in the game a couple years. He should be 10 years younger than what he is. Bruce became Batman at 26 not 36, lol. At 38 year old, Dick Grayson should already be Nightwing, Jason Todd should already be dead and Tim Drake should just be coming into the picture. Why cast an actor that old to play a younger Batman? It makes no sense to me.
I like the batsuit, definitely prefer it to the overly bulky one from the Batfleck era and especially compared to the awful Nolan batsuit. I think Pattinson plays a decent Bruce Wayne. I like how with every casting we see a different aspect of the comic book character come to life, and if you are familiar with the source material, it’s no different with Pattinson. He is playing a Batman much younger than himself, but he also looks way younger than he is so it doesn’t really matter. I think Bruce is still meant to be only around 27 in The Batman despite Robert being much older than that.
@@dedbatt8869 I agree with everything you said except the comment about Affleck's Batsuit. I think that's the best looking Batsuit we've ever had. Definitely the most comic accurate looking suit. I didn't mind that it was bulky. It made Batman look a huge house of a man. I've always liked the idea of Batman being a bigger guy who can move faster and smoother than someone that side should be able to move. To each their own I guess. I would say you're right about his age in The Batman. If it's year two, he should be 27 years old. I don't hate Pattinson as Batman, but I think being 10 years older than the character is a bit much, and I dont think Pattinson is a very good Bruce Wayne. I just don't see Bruce Wayne when I look at that dude.
@@ojmcclanahan689 nah affleck was too big to be batman, i prefer the ninja-like martial artist physique, much more realistic. Once you start trying to replicate the proportions from comics you’ve already missed the point I feel like. Otherwise, Brie Larson needs a bbl asap…
