Got an idea i think you should build a good dam before that river reach your area like what you are doing in to cross the other side. if you build a first pile of big rocks before your real crossing pile of rocks so when the water reaches you place of rocks crossing the current of the water during storm will be less strong and may be a little calmer and less damage to your water well .? Just a thought.

I was worried this would happen one day. Your farm looks romantic built on a river bank but taking in account the rain season in your country always rises the river levels considerably, it's not a good choice to farm that close to the river bed. And this is just regular rain in the rain season. If, God prohibit, a serious flood occurs, it will completely wipe off your crops and rip off your beautiful stone decorations and brick frames. I would definitely move my farm higher, this is not safe.
There's also the concern for a landslide happening with all of the trees cut down to clear for intercrop COMMERCIAL farming nonetheless. There has to be a greater emphasis on long term sustainability rather short to middle term profit and convenience.
In one word: PERMACULTURE
@@emwhaibeeNot only they cut down trees but also (at least on many other Vietnamese channels) use heavy machinery to cut off slopes. It gives me goosebumps when I see it. I saw on two different channels an immediate feedback if actions like these: after heavy rains they got landslides exactly on these cut off slopes loosing crops, families sad etc., everyone pitying them in the comments.... I just don't get it why they don't learn how to work with nature and not go against it.
