Much has changed since we first met there.

I'll say! Lots of new buildings. Renamed buildings (what happened to Sierra Hall North?). An awesome Student Union (all I had was a bookstore and a cafeteria on the roof of Sierra Hall South!). But I felt that I could walk right back into the door of that Geography dept and feel right at home. Thanks to Dr. William Bowen for teaching me how to create useful and readable maps and to understand California geography, skills that fueled my entire career! And to the other great professors such as Warren Bland, Ralph Vicero, James Allen who taught me how to think like a Geographer.
