So I bought Artimus last spring and it’s been hanging out in my dry shed. I like your plan here…however I am overseeding 80,000 sq ft here in central Indiana. My plan was to rent a Stinger and seed/aerate after thanksgiving before the ground freezes and, all my walnut and maple leaves are long gone. This is basically frost seeding. It’s all I can do unless I spend all the warm days over spring and summer seeding and moving sprinklers around which I’m not willing to do. The well doesn’t like to work that hard either.
Do you broom after a steel trowel finish? I thought your not suppose to use steel in freeze thaw states unless brooming to open back up the concrete?? THAnks
On a 21’ x 12’ rectangle, the diagonal should be 24’-2.25”. If you get like diagonal measurements from both corners and that’s not what you’re coming up with, something is wrong.
Especially for something this small, it’s just not worth it. Those battery operated wire tires would be worth it in a factory situation, where you had very unskilled labor making very repetitive ties all day long. For a slab like this with maybe only 50-60 ties total, 2 men can do that in literally 5 minutes with twisters or pliers.

I love that more than just the midwest says "unthawed"
Great videos!!! Sometimes I see plastic/foam on top of the stone. What's your take on this?
Nice work Mike
Thanks 👍
Looked like the area without gravel was the footing and I am guessing where the gravel was brought the slab to 3.5 - 4” thick

Where I live they use a jitterbug or vibrator on thicker flatwork like this.
The driver. Yup. Can make ya or break Ya, especially long runs like curbs!

6 8 10 formula
4 5 6
@@B34000psi 6-8-10 works but 4-5-6 does not.
6²+8² = 10² - 36+64 = 100 ✅
4²+5² ≈ 6.403² - 16+25 ≠ 36 🚫
How come you tie all your rebar by hand rather then use a cordless tying device?
