I think the looks you created were very pretty. However, I agree with you on not enjoying sheer mattes very much. I don't always have time (or patients, to be honest) to build my eyeshadows. Especially since I prefer darker looks most of the time. I understand that some people prefer buildable eyeshadows, because they like a more subtle look. That just isn't me lol.

YAAS HEATHER!!! I first tried Jcat in 2017 or 2018 with their duochrome lighuid eyeshadows. I bought them in a pack of 4 or five. I absolutely LOVE them & still use them. the purple & green ones ugh so good 💕💜💚
I like the Storm Simulation palette more after your swatches! This jungle is my fave two bad not all the shimmers are good in that palette. I love the first look! It’s simple but looks elevated! The second look of just blues was so pretty! But as I watch the pink look has me 😮 the nude lipstick paired really well with the look!💗okay now the orange and yellow look is my fave ! That shimmer was so beautiful in top and I loved the blue and purple on the lower line! It’s like an island sunrise look💕 look 5 is so pretty! The pop of yellow on the inner corner was perfect! For look 6 that green called Snake Pit is so gorgeous 💚 my favorite looks were 6 and 3 (the pinks) 4( Island sunset) and 7 that orange was stunning. You are helping me begin to really like blues and purples now. Which is wild since I considered myself a boring neutrals girl. Absolutely great video❤❤❤
I shopped my stash and created look # 4. I used 3 palettes: Adept Heather Austin (Austin - for the special shade on the lid) Jacqueline Hill Vol ll - yellow, orange and purple and lastly Natasha Denona mini lilah - sparkly blue. I’m so shocked I can pull it off. Thank you, I can’t wait to try more of these looks.
I really love these 7 looks videos and I'm appreciating it a lot cause I know they're so much work 😊 I can't pick what is my fave look cause they're all pretty 😉 I've never tried J.cat eyeshadow palettes cause they're not really a know brand in Denmark and only one internet shop sells them..but I've tried their Pris Metal Chrome Eye Mousse and those are great. Tati recommended them and she was not wrong 😁

I am very interested in these palettes because if their value and seemingly good quality. Thankyou for bringing attention to them. I buy other Jcat products from a discount online retailer here in Australia so hopefully they stock these palettes soon. Jcat produce makeup accessories as well, such as lash groomers, mixing palettes and suchlike.
Thank you for the incredible amount of work required to do 7 looks.. 💜 I've had my eye on the brand. Andrea Mattillano (spelling?) raves about it. But I've never tried it. I don't think I will now. I have so many other palettes with superior quality. It makes so much more sense to use those! Right? All your looks were very creative.. and beautiful! 😍
Thank you for this video! I saw them at Ulta but have never heard anything about them. I was on the fence. I liked all the looks. I thought the green palette was a lost cause but you saved it! I don’t think you should have to work so hard to get the shadows to work for you. I have too many good palettes to get a meh palette. It seems the saving grace is they don’t cost much. Maybe they are for kids or makeup beginners?
Hi Heather! I am new to your channel and wanted to comment on a couple things! First, I have learned so much from you on how to apply makeup again. I will be 50 in September and honestly, forgot how to even apply eyeshadow or the steps for applying face products. I have always been a mascara and eyeliner girl, which was good enough. Thank you for all that you do on your channel to teach! Second, did you know that J.Cat started off as a nail polish line? I remember going into Rite Aid and them selling it there and picking it up. I used to have all the colors, and I still have a couple. Anyway, thank you, thank you for what you do. Although I have come to find myself a Colourpop girl, I am branching out and look forward to more of your recommendation videos :)
I only have one large palette from them. The shimmers/metallics were gorgeous and the mattes softer in pogmentation. The metlics are so impactful, at least in the one i have, i didnt mind the softer pigmentation of the mattes. Though ideally both formulas should be impactful of course.
