As Serbian, but first of all Yugoslavian born person, and now engaged in various cultural project with Albanian colleagues, can only confirm again and again that all this part of Balkans is same cultural space. The differences are minor, and politically emphasized. People must collaborate, travel, listen to each other's music, appreciate each others culture and learn from it because you will find yourself in it easily. We should work more to bring us all thogether, respecting each us other as neighbours, partners, balkan brothers and sisters, who, though history suffered pretty much the same. ❤

We are small countries always suffering from the complex that some big "brother" is paying attention on us instead to gather around and thogether fuck all them off. To me, as a Serb, a far away Russian, American, German or whoever can not be closer to me than my neighbour Albanian, Romanian, Croat, Bulgarian..just continue... And all of this is actually happening in the moments of accidents and disasters...people are there to help in times like this.

Albanians and Greeks immigrated for decades rushing to build a normal life in Italy ,
bringing books and the architecture from the East, an empire that seemed to move back and forth From Italy to the other side of the sea and inspiring and some say sparking the renaissance in the west.
This song to me means the survival of European culture and the difficulties that Albanians had to go through in the last 5 centuries .
But not together... and they fight each other in italy
