There’s a telling moment here when DJC says an actress must carry a phone to be reached but it doesn’t get as many calls these days. I saw her interviewed by Barbara Walters in the 80s during Dynasty and when asked might it all end, she said matter of factly - paraphrasing - it WILL end, I know it will end so I just enjoy it while it lasts and don’t kid myself it’s forever, I know it’s only for now. She’s always been a realist, that glamorous exterior fronts an excellent brain and a down to earth pragmatist.
Good memory. In more recent interviews she has said that she needs to work to maintain her lifestyle and homes. How awesome is that? Almost 90 and still in the game. Maybe she'll slow down in her 90s? LOL. Doubtful

A mirror on the back of her phone case is genius. The compact set with a powder, a mirror and a lipstick is great too. Reminds me of the lipsticks my mom had back in the end of the 80s-early 90s. A lipstick case contained a tiny mirror which was sliding from the inside of its cap.

I am a mature girl and therefore I'm lucky enough to remember powder compacts and various wonderful cosmetics from my mother (born 1922) and grandmother (from Vienna / Austria, born 1890).
