    Es curioso , en Asturias decimos Mucha hambre, supongo que es porque hambre en asturiano se dice "fame" y es femenino "la fame que pase"

      Interesting! I've gotten the idea that "mucha calor" is also possible in some areas. I guess there's some ambiguity.

      Unfortunately ‘hambre’ was not the best example because I’m pretty sure the right expression is ‘muchA hambre’, it has to do with the variation of the gender on some words that start with the sound ‘A’, for example: el agua, el área, to use adjectives on them, they have to be feminine, e.g: ‘el agua clara’, ‘el área despejada’, ‘el hambre despiadada’. That’s why we say: ‘MuchA agua’ instead of ‘Mucho agua’. Btw I am Colombian.
