RUclips figured I would enjoy this video, and they were 100% right. Fascinating, and I’m now subscribed.

Love the series! Keep it up. I live in Berkeley CA and I'd love to see this kind of channel for my local neighborhoods.

Thank you , Jason for your excellent work here. I enjoyed it immensely. I was born and grew up in Westville so this episode was especially interesting to me. Every shot in this video stirred a memory in me. Westville is a part of me after all these years. I carry it with me everywhere. I'll look at your other videos as time permits. Again, thank you.

Very interesting take on my home neighborhood. Where was Sperry’s farm?

I stood by that tree in 1976, talking to the woman I would live with until 1980

    Outstanding work.
Should I have a question about a potential subject of very curious interest regarding New Haven, how might I get it to you ?
It relates to the home I grew up in. A generational home. A family home. Grandparents, 5 aunts, parents, 7 siblings etc.
That home is no more and I've been told it was appropriated via "eminent domain" by the City of New Haven.
The most interesting point would be exactly how "New Haven" even established that right to claim the one and only parcel they ever took anywhere in the neighborhood.
    How in the world ??
The place is the current location of Engine 9 on Ellsworth Ave.
How the heck was an Engine house put there to begin with and are there any photos or documentation available ?
Engine 9 was 120 Ellsworth Ave..
I lived at 116-118 for 12 years before it was demolished.
What might be the story ?
Thanks for everything you're doing........you are obviously top notch.
    Thank you.
