    While Nick coached several GS champions, he never forgot the players with college tennis dreams. An amazing ability to engage with players at all levels. His passion and energy were truly infectious. RIP

    Great technique. Great at inspiring greatness. Like Balanchine in ballet and Gus Lussi in figure skating, Nick taught so many and he made training in tennis even more fun than it already was.

    Based upon results, he was the greatest coach ever. Probably won't be another with such influence over so many.

      this has nothing to do with Nick's job as an amazing coach of many great tennis players...it doesn't matter his religious beliefs!

      At one point, around the end of the 1980s, Nick was married to a lovely woman, Kelly I believe, from Bradenton FL, and she was a devout Christian. I believe he had at least one child with her. This was during the early Andre Agassi time, and Andre would go to church as well.
