I was praying for Eddie and Shawn after that podcast. Now both of them have come to know the savior and the progress that Eddie has made from his interview with Shawn until now is amazing and is of God.
Listening to eddie and Kyle thompson speak i never see them lose their train of thought. They speak about all these elaborate subjects and detailed stories and midway they never forget what they are saying. Sober mind and a mind fixed on Christ
You spoke of this and ptsd due to our combat experiences. It does work hand in hand with generational curse. Due to one man's sin we would not need a military or war. I repented of my time served, the identity assumed, the soul and the ties. Being a victim of the effects of war. I also had repented of those things. To date,,, I no longer suffer from the the effects of tbi, or ptsd. You can take a man out of the military, but you cannot take the military out of the man. God knew us, He formed us, knit us, and breathed life in us. Learning and understanding our identities in Christ is a process like all else. These are things in a nutshell. I'm still learning some things as our deliverance is time and process. Thanks Eddie!
Well, like so many other areas in the social realm, God is revealing Himself and raising up many improbable disciples who are already becoming leaders in the Kingdom. This is happening in arts and entertainment, the church realm, education, really in all of the Seven Mountains of society, including the military. It's fabulous. Fearless and couageous faith, selflessness and accountability to God, His Word and one's brothers.
Man I have chills!! LOVE LOVE LOVE every word this man just said!! Eddy you are TRUE warrior for Jesus!!! Thank you!!!! That is SO SO SPOT ON!! Evil is Everywhere!! Spiritual warfare is ALL AROUND!! And not many people understand. And it absolutely makes the Bible COME ALIVE
Eddie, i think people could see you as spearheading a campaign in this country to wake up weak men. Your story is powerful and convicting. Your biblical knowledge and understanding is impressive. Keep following the Lord, and he will use for the Kingdom
My 7 year old great Grandson Matias says he "will be a Navy seal." He gets up every morning and works out with his Dad and reads Jocko and prays! You warriors are reaching the generations! Hallelujah to The Most High! The gospel will go forth and the gates of hell will NOT prevail!
Saw @eddiepenney on Shawn Ryan. Man, hit me to the core. Have a few same experiences around sleep, being self centered and destructive behavior. Never went through the same or similar experiences in war, had my own that can’t compare. I found Jesus and he saved me from my demons. Can’t wait to read his book.
Jesus in the scriptures is portrayed as a man's man. Total faith, courage, selflessness, integrity, and filled with the knowledge His Father would pour into Him. Total submission and obedience to, and reliance on His Father. Accountable to His Father and to His disciples.
I love this! Have a little problem with "Wild at Heart though... Before I met Christ, I was a drinker. I was miraculously delivered from drugs and alcohol. Fast forward to a book and video series my church adopted for men "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge. This book was really connecting with my inner man. Then the book and the video came to a place where the "real men" were drinking beer and he declared, "I dont drink cheap beer"....wait, what? Now, I'm not here to condemn drinking or anyone that does. All I know is what happened to me. That "beer seed" that was sown stayed with me for a few weeks until one hot day after mowing the lawn i thought to myself, "Man, a cold beer sure sounds good!" Then i started to reason that I wouldn't get the cheap stuff, it should be alright, that's what men do...right? I wont go into detail of the next 20 PLUS YEARS of my "desert experience" of alcohol and drug use. I have re-dedicated my life to Jesus (praise His name). This book should come with a disclaimer on it. I am certain that I'M NOT the only one to have been caught in this snare. Our liberty is not worth another’s walk with God. If something God allows would lead another to sin, we need to avoid it. We are given great freedom as Christians, but the greatest is the freedom to consider others’ welfare over our own. 1 Corinthians 8:9 (ESV) But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.
Great interview, thank you Lord for bringing up these Men onto the Battlefield for the Kingdom. Lord help us align with your purpose on the front lines of the Battle for your Harvest, Sheilds locked, Armor on, together as one, for such a time as this 🙏 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏 Amen and Amen
An elderly man once told me that anyone that has a gun AND a Bible in their home isn’t a true Cristian. That’s not my beliefs necessarily….just looking for some feedback!
Eddie, you're so right about the blindness of the church, especially seminary-trained leaders. But people are beginning to get educated in the Word about things like the enemy's tactics, effective spiritual warefare, always wearing the FULL Armor of God, etc. However, we must also be fully grounded in Biblical fundamental principles which are usually ignored. Therefore most believers aren't taught who they truly are in Christ, our Kingdom authority, thinking and awareness, rather than the useless religion as usual. No holiness, no power!
Repentance and forgiveness are the two components that are basic. Then obedience to the WORD. AS priest head of house hold, your actions effect your family. Remember, Saul was killing true Christians, until he had the full revelation of YESHUA HAMASHIACH. Then he became Paul, writer of 3/4 of the new testiment. We are all brothers and sisters and we have to give an account to the GREAT CREATOR, WHY we marred or destroyed HIS MASTERPIECES. WHEN AN EPISODE COMES UP; PTSD or flashback, repent. Many troops say, I was following orders. The anger is sin and hatred has to be repented of.
Everyone talks how strong god is and how he has all this power but he’s soooo strong why can’t he use all these “powers” and come down to earth and run his own church, fix everyone’s problems cure everyone’s sickness make the poor rich? I’ll tell you why bc he’s not real
Hi! Great questions! God has given use free will to make choices specifically to make the choice to follow Him or not. That free will have the ability for consequences to come in. For example if you drink excessively you most likely will have a hang over or if you text and drive you could get in a car accident. There are natural consequences to our actions. For things that are out of your control- the devil is making moves against us. He hates all humans because we are made in Gods image. God will turn all of the evil that the devil reeks for good for those who love Him and are His children. When we are weak and ask for His strength, He is able to show us Himself and His power. We just have to be looking. It is so hard going through life especially with things like cancer or sudden death but we are promised, guaranteed paradise with our creator when we trust in Jesus as our Lord and Savior! I pray that all of this has made sense and that you may see the glory of God! May God meet you wherever you are looking! Have a good Fourth of July weekend!
I use to think like you, I hear you. Because He created us to love and have free will. He did not want a bunch of robots. Just like we would not want a robot significant other.

During that Shawn Ryan Show interview Eddie was already a converted Christian inspiring others with his testimony.
