As long as you're providing reasons not to doubt you, I don't see why I should be unnecessarily insecure about my partner's friend. As long as the partner is comfortable introducing them to me, there's nothing to worry about. However, if they're hesitant to bring them close, it would raise suspicions. I trust my instincts and believe I can sense if my partner and their bestie are hiding something from me once I get to know the bestie better.
