at 39:25 the sound is much better and does not get tired anymore. If you can please in the next video on the cockpit it is the sound ... By the way perfect video thanks for another time that you share the most beautiful experiences of your life. I hope you never forget it
I just saw it! I think it's a bit better than Larnaca-Zurich! But it does not stop being an amazing video with a terrible job! So keep on sharing these perfect life experiences that I hope you never forget!
Hi Demetris, I always enjoy Aviation videos of any type. But films like these where we get to learn the SOPs of the cockpit and ATC communications are what really gets me into the flying mode. Are you happy with the PPL?
TheGreatFlyer that’s awesome!! Good luck with your ATPL. You know back in the past I couldn’t begin my flying training due to financial constraints. Also, now I’m preparing for cadet programs here in India. If you ever visit India, kindly let me know so that we can meet.
I don't think so. Maybe if you're lucky enough tho. But nowadays only family members of the flight deck crew and or dead head crews are allowed on deck. But it really depends on the captain, the airline and the circumstances (full aircraft or not).
0:24 - I do find it weird that they have that giant CAT III placard in there. Have they forgotten it's an airbus? A large green placard ISN'T what they should be using to judge the landing capability. There is a perfectly good FMA and Status page! I assume it is a relic of an operator that is slowly transitioning from typical types (boeings etc) to something a bit more modern, but if Airbus had thought that was a useful idea, they'd have included one!
You will find such placards in almost every commercial airliner cockpit. It can always be replaced and downgraded with a CATI placard, and that's the sole reason the placard exists. The other place you can find such information is the TechLog. In fact, in my airline, there is such a placard on top of the TechLog too, as well as in the cockpit.
Andreas Fetsis the screens are made in a certain way that the camera and the angle makes the effect that the screens are flashing this is why pilots can not where UV protected sunglasses as it makes the displays very hard to see at certain angles I hope this helps clear it up
Can someone explain to me why they are cruising at only 250 knots? I've never seen any videos where the aircraft cruises that slowly before. What am I missing?
The 250 kts is the Indicated air speed which does not compensate for air pressure and is only relative to the limits of the aircraft. If you go to 21:38 in the video, below that speed bar you will see the aircraft is flying at Mach 0.795 and if you look on the Navigation Display to the right at the very top you will see the true airspeed of about 466 knots and a Ground speed of 439 knots because just below it is an arrow showing a headwind of 29 knots. I hope that explains it.
Taoma H well looks like Boeing isn’t doing much better at the moment. And the stick only killed because the french pilots forgot the basics of flying a plane. They panicked because true autopilot was no longer active, they lost the airspeed readout and just broke down
I have the Pleasure to fly with the Captain every now and then, Great guy and great Cap!
Excellent video. Thanks to two pilots of Cobalt air and TheCreatFlyer for the amazing video. I wish I could fly an Air bus A320 for real some days

I’m pretty sure it’s to do with ATC recordings in Europe. It’s free and legal without permissions in Switzerland 🇨🇭

good anexperience
Great fly ;)
This captain is basically playing the role of a co pilot and the co pilot is playing the role of the Captain
Moagisi Isaac it’s called Pilot flying and pilot not flying/pilot monitoring. Gone are the days the first officer was the captains bitch
Im flying cobalt in a couple of weeks to thessaloniki, do you think they'd let me in the flight deck for the entire ride if i ask?
I don't think so. Maybe if you're lucky enough tho. But nowadays only family members of the flight deck crew and or dead head crews are allowed on deck. But it really depends on the captain, the airline and the circumstances (full aircraft or not).
No

At 10:27 the captain says “set standards” What exactly is he doing ?
Set standard setting on the altimeters - 1013.25hPa or 29.92 inches of Mercury.

I wish I could fly one day an Airbus 320 for real
We go to the same place for gliding
When the Turkish airlines crossed in front of you how come I didn't even hear the alarm go off traffic traffic traffic what happened ?
TCAS is off on the ground.
Table must be stowed for takeoff and landing sir !
Is he a pilot?
EasyJet Noah I know I’m late but he is a private pilot and I believe he may want to become a commercial pilot but I am unsure
No a Bus driver
A stick instead of a wheel? Huh.
Would you fly a fighter jet with a wheel ? :P
Wow, jet fighters have gotten big! ;)
xD
Airbus has sticks, every other manufacturer has some sort of yoke.
That's the new way building a plane in europe
That's a loud cockpit.
А я русский и мне пофиг
The cockpit is way too noise. The stick has already killed. Bad design decision. Not an Airbus fan.
Taoma H well looks like Boeing isn’t doing much better at the moment. And the stick only killed because the french pilots forgot the basics of flying a plane. They panicked because true autopilot was no longer active, they lost the airspeed readout and just broke down
