A long time ago your videos got me into Blackmore's Night, love their music so much! Looking back now, Michael and Robert were babies, 23 or 24 yo at the time... Both so cute! I'll always love and miss this show.
Thank you very much for this video, I concur that both of these men should be every woman's dream - they certainly are mine and have been since I was nine years old. Since it's the 40th anniversary of ROS this year I can honestly say that the show and these two actors/characters have been my favourite of all time all these years, espescially Robert Addie - he will always be my Gisburne and my Ghost of a Rose, my blonde angel on a horse. RIP Robert, this fair maiden still loves you. 😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤🐎🗡🛡🏹

I don't mind if they were gay, but I really don't ship them, because guy is an ass and has no respect and boundaries (it was obvious with marione). Robin deserves someone better. Either Marion or one of his merry men. Or Robert could save him and they fall in love. That would be great. Just not guy. He can fall in love with the sherrif or prince john for all i care. Birds of feather flock together.
@@intellectualrebel5340Guy was actually quite chivalrous with Marion in the first episode, rushing to warn her to lock the door when Robin, an escaped outlaw, is loose in the castle, he also addresses her as "My Lady". It's only after she runs away and joins the outlaws that his attitude changes. I know he does a lot of unsavory things, but he basically has little to no choice! From his mother's words, he was severely abused as a child. He has a title but no land or income and no choice but to work for the De Rainaults. Hugo actually orders and blesses him to kill Robin's uncle and surrogate father and the Sheriff is always ordering him to do all those evil deeds and then berates and humiliates him. Every time he tries to get away, something forces him back. He's no angel, but I do think he'd be a lot nicer, less evil, under a more benevolent master. I find it hard to ship these two because Guy did kill Robin's uncle and there's no way around that, but I really wish there was and that Robin's light and joie de viver could ease his harshness, teach him to relax a bit and that he truly matters. It's my theory that he treats people the way he does because that's how he's always been treated too.
@@XofHope No way. Actually if you pay close attention, Guy crosses the line so badly that even the evil sherrif has to hold him back. He's not requred to treat peasants like shit. He lies women are witches to sherrif if they don't like him. In the 3rd season he joins those crazed wolf-people cult and even the sheriff's dissapointed. For as much as I dislike sheriff, Guy is worse, more brash, more phisically violent,...
