Every time i listen to this song, i remember when sana cried on V Live and remember all of the hard work that they're doing until now, that makes me smile and keep on moving forward through hard times. To be honest, the lyric and the music is good but not really great. I don't know about other people, but for me what makes this song special is the fact that they're intentionally made this song for us/once/their fans, released it to us at their first anniversary of their debut, and then sana cried beautifully at that moment. It inspires me to get better and work hard just like them. Thank you for your inspiration, Twice. God bless Twice and Once. Saranghaeyo!!!
The music is like a R&B 2000's kind of song, if you listen to one of them (doesn't need to be the whole thing) you will hear it. Not many people like it because it's 'older generation music' and a new music generation was born.
I find that a lot of their music is different than most of what you hear now. I'm an older ONCE (older than 25, and younger than JYP 😋) and I really appreciate and love a lot of their music.
I also love the girls themselves. Likey was my first exposure to TWICE. I saw the MV right after it came out by accident. I saw a clip of Sana singing her part, and kind of instantly fell hard for her. And I loved the music....couldn't get it out of my head. I was pretty much a ONCE from that point on.
Once I started finding the videos of them online I found that they were not what I would have expected too....they were so much better. Respectable, classy, decent, fun, and normal. At this point they all feel like family or close friends. I like watching their goofy videos as much as I like listening to their music.
Personally I think they are so popular because their music and their image is different than the usual.
It's been just over a year for me, but they are still my favorite group. And Sana is still my favorite, followed very closely by the other members. 🙂

Since becoming a Once, there has been a one occasion where I felt like a complete failure and disappointment. Being the first person in my family to go to a University. My ego had gotten to me and I ended up failing one of my classes in the first semester of University. I felt like, such a loser. How could I fail a class? I was supposed to set the standards higher than they were before. This was around the time I discovered Twice. One song in particular caught my attention, which was One in a Million. This song actually changed my life, the lyrics spoke to me. It really made me realize sometimes life knocks you down. And it truly is up to YOU to get back up. Every since my first semester in University I have been getting straight A’s. And now every time I’m having a bad day, One in a Million is the song I listen to.
Don't loose hope... I have same story as yours but a bit different... During my middle school, I failed one subject... My class teacher contacted my parents and said that it's not possible for me to go to high school with such grades... But seeing my parent's hopeless face, I assured to work hard. I worked hard and passed my last semester. I entered medical college. To my surprise i always became a top 3 student in college. During the end of first year of college, I came to know Twice, surprisingly I used to get empowered by their songs... I motivated myself and now I am a medical nurse... So don't give up... Keep going... You are one in a million, fam 😍😍😍😍

I'm here because legends said that an angel named jungyeon did a highnote in this song called One In A Million
My dog died today. I am so heartbroken from this loss. He was the best dog I could've wished for and most importantly was my best friend. I remember my first time when I saw him - he was 4 months old. From that day forward he became the friend I wanted so much. He helped me through so much and was growing as I was also getting older. When he was 4 years old we moved him to my grandma's place and I couldn't see him as much as before. The years kept passing and I was coming to see him way less because of my responsibilities as a growing teenager, but the times I came to see him he was the most happiest animal. He never tried to injure or hurt people when we invited them to the house. Sometimes he was the only one that could help me with my life and was always there for me. The thing I regret is that I wasn't always there for him because I couldn't come and see him. He became older and started to show signs of sickness. We tried to help him , we got him to the vet multiple times - he went under 3 or more surgeries and in the end we were thinking of puting him down, but today he died from a tumor. I couldn't have wished for a better friend and I will never forget him. I love you Jeki 💓

I'm crying while listening to this song because I feel like Twice themselves are cheering me up because right now I'm in tough situation. I'm currently a varsity in a high school basketball team. I'm an eighth grader and I made it to be on the team because of my inspiration in life and that is Twice. I was about to quit because I can't endure the pain I feel whenever I have a training but I still don't quit because Twice doesn't quit as well. Now that I'm in the team, I suddenly stopped my training because my blood is very low (120/62 Prehypertension) and I get dizzy easily. My teammates says that I'm just acting and I can't do the drills because it is so tiring and they keep downing me. I feel like I'm not part of the team anymore. Now, I'm more cheered up and motivated to beat their ass and prove who is the real great because of this song. This song will be my motivation song forever. Thank you Twice for cheering me up. You searched if it’s true because maybe it’s just a rumor. You searched and searched. But you can’t stop your tears as u read the article. Your phone’s screen was so wet because every drop. of your tear was going there. You just really can’t. You slept hoping that it’s just a dream. But as u wake up, there’s still no Twice. Well, if you think about it they are really close and the way they interact seems rather sincere, they are basically family. We should try to think positively for ourselves and Twice. I personally think even if they do disband they will remain friends for a long time, if not then forever. Twice will disband as we all know but like you said "They can't be Twice forever, but you can be a Once until whenever." Indeed they won't be Twice forever but friends with their kind of chemistry will last long believe me my fellow ONCE. We're all gonna cry the time the day comes. Let's hope Twice ends with a peaceful ending. I think the words you said are pretty wise, not gonna lie. Here's the good thing though if the members do end up going solo they might collaborate with each other. Anyways, when the day comes the members and JYPE will probably give hints so it's not gonna happen in a night, and they are the NGG right now and have been for almost 5 years. JYP won't be disbanding them anytime soon plus the members have said they want to last a decade or longer (win-win for us). There's no need to fret, instead, think about what we have currently and enjoy it. ONE MORE THING! NO MATTER WHAT, TWICE WILL ALWAYS BE CONNECTED TO US. Twice is really something special 😭 They always make my day!! Whenever I'm sad, I play their music and it ALWAYS makes me happy ♡ From this song to I'm Gonna be a Star, I love ALL of them!! I get so heartbroken when haters say twice doesn't have talent.. everyone has talent. It can be anything, like passion, hardworking, perseverance, etc. And Twice has those talents!! I mean, look at Tzuyu, she's actually from Taiwan in a Korean girl group that JUST had their Japan debut! And she's only like, 17 years old! Or Jihyo, she's trained with jyp for 10 YEARS! She was crying while performing Like Ooh Ahh and she still sang!! that's dedication! Nayeon, Jihyo, and Jeongyeon were almost in another group together, but it didn't work out. Think of how sad they all must have been! And now that they're in twice, they are breaking SO many records!! I hope haters will understand that in order to love a group, you don't need to love their singing. You can love other qualities as well, like those I listed above^ which is why I stan this group ♡

I think that "One in a Million" is representing Momo during SIXTEEN era because she was eliminated, and out of the many other trainees (the trainees represent the million) that were also eliminated, Momo was the *one* chosen to be part of TWICE. Also, in the song, Nayeon has a line which translates to " One in a million, I believe in you, you are perfect." This is exactly what JYP told Momo that she was the only one who has such characteristics and she was perfect for the group despite her being eliminated

Why they keep criticizing Tzuyu's voice? She doesnt have an exceptionally skilled and special vocal, but her voice gives me a calm and refreshed feeling everytime. She's not an excellent singer, but definitely not a bad one either. She's improving day by day, just hope JYP finally realize that too along with her visual and give her role as a singer more chance to shine.
