Thank you for the club distance tip, which admittedly i think i do tend to forget about once im in the tee box ….and its usually with driver and the longer irons that i get the any which way miss(though usually some sort of right miss just not always ). Thanks again.
Love your videos, Could you go into more detail about the drill you use with the alignment sticks on the toe line and the heel line. Can you do this with a full swing?? Thx
Love your videos. Have been working with your light stick. I seem to keep both ends of the light beam on the target line, but am still coming out to in when I swing a club. I also using the towel method. Anything else I can work on? 2nd question - I have access to a launch monitor, what numbers am a looking for?
The towel drills we did in one of the lessons with Patrick can really help you out for path. Also check out the alignment stick drills we talk about in the iron striking video from a few months ago. If your launch monitor has club path data, you want it to usually be +/- 3 degrees or less for path and swing direction
I am not a slicer but I am a topper. I top 3 to 4 times when I tee the ball up and hit anything from my driver, 3 wood or 7 wood. Very frustrating and costing me a lot of shots.
Not to be greedy with questions …but im regard to grip and pressure , i seem to grip tightly .it doesnt feel that way but i can wear out a glove in one round (the palm will be worn about through) …so i wont always use a glove ,and my hand will sometimes feel that “wearing out “area , my hope is ill relax …ive recently regripped my clubs with oversized grips(think theyre considered slightly oversized ..?) anyways my thinking is because of the size and them being a much softer and tacky feel i wont need to buy a glove every time i play (i wont use a glove anymore ).. so i guess im asking is a glove really that important? Since at best i use one 50% of the time and my misses dont change, and depending how these new grips work out …etc etc ,any thoughts ?
@@edschwent1630 ive always wondered why is a glove considered needed …? Ive just assumed it started by one guy “100yrs ago “ who was great started wearing one for a specific reason ,and other aspiring golfers saw it as a must have to play like “so and so” …and it evolved from there like the old shampoo comercial to where its just assumed you need one ….point being I’ve never heard why everyone seams to wear one , for what benefit ? To lessen your grip pressure on club /allow club to move within grip ? 🤷🏼♂️

I don’t wear a glove usually

Gloves aren’t important unless sweaty high humidity. You wear them out because of mishits on the toe or heel which twists in your hand.
