I didn't know you were on RUclips too! You helped me out with that brake pin last week and I also bought a seat and a caliper from you.
Your builds always turn out very nice, including this one.
    Cheers!

I have a 1982 fully dressed goldwing and can’t wait to start tearing it down, your bike looks fantastic, I saw on utube somewhere a guy took your seat and cut the foam with an electric knife into a cafe looking seat and had it covered, thanks for the video

Right on! I'm buying an 81 gl1100 for 850 tomorrow morning.. I'll probably just keep it stock as I really only want it for longer trips but with a second bike, I'll be able to start doing some real mods on the rebel 250 I've dailied for the past two years.. now that's been an excellent little bike! 10k miles, zero issues, great mileage, fast enough to use any road and about as simple as they get to work on.

Well I thought I had an 1982 and it turns out to be a 1980 which is a big difference, the carbs have pressed in jets and are hard to clean but anyway it was fully dressed and I’m taking everything off and I really like those chrome fenders you put on makes a big difference in those big plastic ones , nice job you did

I plan to build a gl1200 using my dual throat downdraft Weber carbs I got off a Porche 914 engine. And make it a Naked Scooter except for a small wind shield for long distance jamming. I like the early Valkyries but the gas mileage sucks. A pair of Webers will make balancing easier.
Update:Changed my mind. I found a Gl1100 with very low mileage that has spent it's entire life garaged and only riden on weekends. I paid quite a lot for it but only 87,000 miles in the clock. Oh yeah, it's a standard model. Naked!!!
