hello just went to my dealer to check an s1000r 2023 to replace an mt10 and it vibrates a LOT! also idling was at 1200rpm oscillating to 1250 not sure if this is normal. my mt10 is smooth and is not new. expected more.

I've secured a deal on one of this , M1000R , I've done quite a bit of research and a lot of riders are saying the same , vibration on the handle bars , so now I'm quite in between , what shall I do , next Saturday the bike should arrive and I'm thinking what exactly should I ask them at the dealership , After they done the recall on yours , did it get much better ?! Hey bud, so sorry to reply so late, I get out of touch with looking at comments and replies. Hope you picked up your M1000R! Vibrations on the handle bar is just an inline four cylinder thing so don’t worry about it, bar end mirrors will help a lot. I just bought another S1000XR M package and put some evotech bar ends and it reduces the vibrations but dealing with wheel vibrations lol 😆 working on solutions. Hope you took delivery of the M and enjoy 😉 ride safe !
Hello and thanks for the videos. I recently purchased the OEM bar end mirrors for my 22 s1000r and they vibrate really bad. I could live with it, but it would be good if it was reduced a bit. How did you find out about the recall? Any more info you can provide before I look into it further. Thanks again
Welcome to the s1000 club!! So when I took the bike for 1st service the service technician came over and told me I have recall on my bar end mirrors. I was puzzled 🤨 he is like I placed the order for the new ones soon as they arrive we will call you and that is it! 2 months later they came and here they are! I’m not sure if there is a link but call the dealer and ask them to check for any recall. Thank you
@@SoloMCRider Thanks much for the quick reply! I was actually at a dealership yesterday for my first service and asked while I was there. They said they weren't aware of a recall - although I have to say they didn't seem overly excited about checking for me - I will dig into it more later.
Quad lock pro stem mount with wireless charging head and vibration damper! My bike has usb charging port option included so I just route the cable under the fuel tank, it wasn’t that hard!

Great vid. I had same issue with my beemer s1Kr. Have 2500k miles. Getting bren stage 2 now then to the track. I'm off on a 6hr ride to MI! Stay safe.

Its just the M1000R that gets the shiftcam. You can still get a 2023 model without shiftcam.

What phone Mount are you using and was it difficult to hard wire to the bike?
