You saved my life! Actually on a new machine you have to activate Gracenote licences otherwise you cannot rip any CD (the system keeps telling you it's impossible to find metadata and ejects any CD). Many thanks for sharing!
I tried to renew the subscription to Grace notes for disc recognition and also covert art but on the website US is not a country that can be selected Any hint how to go about it so I can continue ripping my CDs on the 3X35 Thanks much
Matt, I just bought a X50D (in Australia). Can I copy all my HD music from my PC (or an external SSD) to the X50D's hard drive(s)? I regularly buy music from the HD Tracks website, mostly at 96kHz or 192kHz sampling rate. All my CD's have already been ripped. Not keen to rip the whole lot again. Will take months.
thanks for the great instructions.. I have been looking at the Cocktail Audio products for a few years but wanted to wait to see how reliable the products were. they are quite expensive so I would hope to get maybe 10 years out of whichever one I bought. I was wondering if it is difficult to set up? Do you need to know much about computers? If I record vinyl will I have to tell the X45 when each song ends? Can I record the whole vinyl album then split it into the separate songs afterwards? how long is the guarantee for? thanks
Hi Michael, we're so glad it helped! Required computer knowledge fairly minimal and the X45 is great for recording vinyl - simply capture the whole album then slice up songs later with the built-in separation tool. If you're in the UK feel free to drop us a line via our site and we can provide you with full specs and support details :)
