Day 37: Lava Avalanche from Partial Cone Collapse

A partial cone collapse results in a torrent of lava tumbling down the side of the volcano. This is a process called "slumping" and it is a normal part of a strombolian volcano's development. October 25th 2021, marks day 37 of the La Palma eruption.
