What about a series on English leagues that no longer exist? Like the old Division 1, 2 etc. Division 3 South/North. Non-league there was the Unijet League in the 90's (8th tier in Sussex).
It’s also worth noting with Maidstone that they were ground sharing with Dartford in the late 80s/early 90s. Due to making the football league, they had to pay for ground improvements which were then sold to Dartford which made their own debts so unmanageable that they had to sell their ground to stay afloat.
It really pissed me off that when the BBC talked about how unfortunate maidstone were to go bankrupt, there was no mention of the team they took down with them

Since then they have reformed under two separate teams AFC Hinckley who play at Barwell and Leicester Road who play at the former Hinckley United Ground.

It was during this period that they got to the quarterfinals of the Welsh cup in two successive seasons in the 1960 & 61 seasons . But with highs come lows, the team was disbanded between 1998 - 2009, then disbanded for a further four seasons between 2012 - 2016. In 2019 it was announced that the first team would be leaving the Welsh Alliance league, citing their inability to field sides after three players were sent off in one match - meaning that due to injury, suspension & family / work commitments a minimum of nine players would be unavailable for the next three matches (I believe that in one game only four players turned up).

I remember that day, December 6th 1930. The reason barely anyone showed up was because there was an early putch inspection by the referee, Alan Wolesley, and it went out on the wireless that the match had been cancelled, which wasn't true. But because I hadn't turned the radio on that morning, I went to the match. There was a hell of a lot of leg room, that's for sure! 😂
Horwich RMI used to play at Grundy Hill in Horwich, up until the 90’s, I lived right across from it and used to walk through their ground to get to school. They moved later to Leigh and changed their name, to Leigh RMI but that was a few years later. The original club was called Chester FC, founded in 1884 and continued until 1983 when they changed their name to "Chester City FC." That continued until 2010 when they reached the position where they were unable to fulfil their fixtures and were expelled from the league. As Chester City FC rented the ground from the local council, the council were able to evict them. That legal entity was then wound up. In parallel with these events the supporters, having formed an organisation called City Fans United, secured enough support and funding to be able to form a new club, Chester FC, taking over the lease of the ground and starting life in the 8th tier of English Football. Judas broke Macclesfield 😊😂
Don't forget, Manchester City. After we find out their fate, you can add them to this list.
Don’t give up your day job
Maidstone united existed
I’m definitely sure Macclesfield still exists
They do
Leeds city
England has reached the semis.
I bet you have a Semi -
Good one. Your parents must be very proud.
God I hope were not on this list soon
Mcfc ... now abu dhabi f.c
Macclesfield still exists
Afc wimbledon were given the history of the old club including the f.a cup so isn't really a new club just a new name , most teams have changed their name over the years including man utd , if bootle never went under liverpool wouldn't of been formed
I agree mate but I have also seen many things that say the history is not a continuation :)
It's a good point though and bootle dropped out of the league and we're replaced by Liverpool but their departure wasn't the formation of the club :)
I appreciate the feedback though!
@@GoodSportReviews the team i support changed it's name was stoke ramblers ( shambles these days 🙄 ) .
Our rivals though port vale are actualy named after nothing , theres no port vale in stoke on trent other than the club .
Keep up the great content mate , it's the beautiful game when var doesn't ruin it but being in the elf its a blessing not having it 🤣
@user-sw9ry3rg7u I appreciate it mate! Thank you for the comments and honestly VAR can get in the bin 😂 have a great day bud!
@@GoodSportReviews and you mate have a great night

Would be good to see a Scottish one just to laugh at the sevco fans in the replies
Hopefully man utd joins this list in the future
👍
Add one Scottish club :- Glasgow Rangers
I dont think chester exist they must be 6-7th divison
They are 6th tier (Conference North) as Chester FC. Same ground as the former Chester City FC.
@@MrAl68 then who's the real chester fc here
@@usaball_before_war Fans would say "Chester FC", the current legal entity. Chester FC, the current organisation is the club that represents the City in the football world, so in my opinion are the 'real' Chester FC.
This is very sad
I swear Maidstone United is still a club
Whut
Newport County? Same team or not, it's debatable?
THE ZULUS ? FEK ME IMAGINE THAT NOW ? YOU MIGHT AS WELL REFORM THE B N W MINSTRELS WOW THIS COUNTRY HAS REALLY BEEN OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY HASN'T IT ? BRILLIANT VIDEO VERY INTERESTING THE THAMES TEAM WAS FASCINATING THEN TO BECOME WEST HAM I WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN THAT IN A MILLION YEARS ♥️🌈🙏🏐🥅⚽🇮🇹🇧🇷
