My Loftness Battle Axe on a SVL 97-2 doesn’t work that well. It’s always hanging ( clogging). Very slow. Besides new operator, what’s the problem? Especially on sweet gums.
@@theycallmelarry2655 that sounds like a dream... I have a Energreen Robomax with an FAE forest mulcher. Unfortunately I mostly work in the middle of Sweden and we have nothing but rocks. I'm planning to expand my operation with a compact loader and a forest mulcher tha can handle rocks.
I love watching these videos but something inside me hates to see those trees get mulched instead of being lumber or firewood. I can understand doing it to build a home site or to thin out for growth but to just mulch them up is a shame.
Do you know which teeth are on it? Also, how much land did you get done in 8 hours? I'm about to rent one for a week to clear a fence line equal to about 1.5 acres of mostly brush and 3-5 inch pines and about 4.5 acres of undergrowth brush and junk trees. I believe it's the 61" model on a Bobcat T595 which is only 74 hp though vs 96 hp on the 333G.
This John Deer 333G would not meet my need I do NOT have any pancake super FLAT land.. If all it can do is extremely soft wood on perfectly flat... I don't need it
Without a doubt, the best operator I have ever seen running a forestry mulcher.
I have watched dozens of mulching videos. You have got to be the best operator i have seen.
Really nice work and operating. Great setup
Man that thing is a beast 💪
The Loftness head seems to leave a nice finish 👍🏻
Really happy with it! Don't know about other heads, but the design seems better.
theycallmelarry26 3 months later how do you feel about it now ? Looking into getting the same set up
Is that with the cutting teeth or the carbide wedges? GG's man. Those Deer skids have strong hydros. Have the same head on a Bobcat T770.

Does that work on mesquite trees and cactus?
I have a question for you I am trying to find the second cabin filter I have found the one in behind the seat
Nice work but i would have left those pines
Nice video. How does this setup handle rocks?
No rocks in our area unless we put them there.

They come with either the 4 point, the planer teeth, or the carbide teeth.
Planner I think. You have to sharpen them.
@@theycallmelarry2655 Thanks! Is this yours or did you rent it?
@@zaappp1588 it was bought new by my boss.
