The Kola Pythra? Huh.
His Aegis sux and he knew it. The Roy got the job done just fine.

3:00 orange smashcon shirt w the emotes
Roy’s our Boy 🤙🏾
Kazuya players don't deserve any kind of credit, they just have to learn a combo and that's it, carried for life.
Scrub quotes
@@paulakroy2635you sound dumb
If it was that simple there’d be a shit ton more of Kaz. But there isn’t. Get better at the matchup
Yea Kazuya is broken, but this is a horrible statement. There’s a reason there’s two, MAYBE three top level Kazuyas. That’s not a lot considering there’s like 6 ROBs, Snakes, and a few more (how are you not mentioning how easy ROB is). Yes the standard combo is not too complicated, but that doesn’t determine who wins the MU. SDI does exist. Counter MUs exist. Take Bayo. Her zero to deaths are not that hard either. They’re SDI’able. Hell she has witch time to set them up. Of course Kazuya is much better than Bayo, but saying that one combo carries Kazuya players isn’t fully true. If that’s true, show us. Make a top 8 major. It shouldn’t be hard to learn one combo, right?
A Kazuya player definitely hurt you
9:10 idc if Kazuya isn't getting "results" but cmon there fact that the character can just cheese kills this easily is just so irritating. It felt like there was no work involved other than fishing the neutral. At least all the other busted characters have to actually do something
wdym just never get hit ever... easy peasy...
there are tradeoffs involved
Why didn't Kola ever counter? He would have won this way easier if he did...
There were definitely a few spots for it but counter has lots of end lag if you miss. Wildz is a punish heavy player and hardly swung first in this match when he wasn't spamming electric. He stood in shield and waited. That counter would probably have gotten him KOed on stage. Also Kazuya is more vulnerable in the air so more setups to get him airborne were the play
@@VoidBringer_98 I'm not talking about on-stage. On stage, it's a terrible idea. I mean off-stage as an edgeguard tool. Watch it again, there are so many moment where kola looked like he didn't know what to do during kaz getting back to stage, he definitely could have done that. You can see the efficacy of it during Kola's games against Mr. E.
@@tumultoustortellini I suppose you are right. It's not a setup he particularly goes for as opposed to Mr E who goes for it multiple times in a set. I've picked up Lucina recently and I don't go for that setup either really. Only if I go for an edge guard and have a feeling that the opponent tries to hit me before my edge guard do I go for it. Lots of the fire emblem characters recoveries are exploitable and prone to reversals if you take their jump
@@VoidBringer_98 I used to play lucina. In my expert opinion, they are only still A-tier if you're willing to edgeguard w/ shieldbreaker, second hit nair, and counter. No one should be able to take your jump anyways, just don't jump during the edgeguard, it's not like kaz is gimping anyone anyways.
I think roy will get to that point of requiring edgeguards offstage as well.
@@tumultoustortellini Yes it took me a while to get out of the habit of burning my second jump off stage while going for an edge guard. I'm a Sheik main so habits from playing her so long. As for Roy needing to do more edge guard moves and possibly countering off stage the game and meta is getting there. Lots of characters are getting to the don't interact or TOD stage. Kinda awkward for rush in playstyles like Kola
I feel like Kazuya doesn't get enough hate. He's almost as bad as smash 4 Bayonetta with the instant kill combos
Lol mald
Bayo was definitely a bigger problem than Kazuya is
I think he does, everyone is pretty acutely aware how over tuned he is.
Bayo was far worse tbh
but he definitely gets enough hate to a point where they personally attack kazuya players
I think he gets too much hate, people are learning how to deal with Kazuya
