11lb is a heavy Les Paul. 13lb is two SGs.
A very good review which is better quality than most of the man in a spare room reviews on You Tube.

These guitars usually weigh in under 7lbs. Mine is 6lbs 10oz. That’s the norm. 12-13lbs would break your back. My 77 Les Paul Custom is around 10 lbs. Good review though! Keep ‘em coming!

I got the red one. I really wanted to like it, but it's given me problems, such as fret muffling on the first and second string on the forth fret. I need to take it to my luthier and have it checked out. My special Jr. model, on the other hand, plays like a dream.

Yeah my other SG sounds muddy and the pickups are not great. It's a good cheap starter guitar but after a while you need something brighter, like the P90s!

@@beardedchaplain Interesting. The twin single coils on my Special Jr. sound rather crisp and clean. I bought the Classic because i wanted P-90 pick ups, and, while it sounds great, I already described the problems I've been having with it. I have a Gibson "Naked" SG with P-90s that was set up much better, and I love it, but I don't take it out f the house since it was a limited run. That's originally why I got the Epiphone.

Please tell me how the heck you got you got a left-handed one because Epiphone only list it as right-handed. I've been looking for a left-handed one of these for a long time I've never seen them other than made by Gibson.

Hey Corey, honestly I didn't request it in any certain configuration 😀

Very cool man. I’m in the market snd can’t decide between this guitar, Epiphone Coronet, or a Gibson SG Junior in white.
I’m glad that you are enjoying your new baby. Play on my brother. Will be watching.

It is closer to 6 lbs, by my guesstimate.

This guitar should weigh between 6 1/2 or 7 pounds. There is no way that thing weighs 12 or 13 pounds. I have a 91 Gibson Les Paul custom that weighs 10 pounds. And SG‘s are always going to be lighter due to a thinner body

Appreciate your comments, yeah my SG Classic is crazy lightweight! I try my best to deliver accurate info on the instruments, occasionally I miss the mark. Go with the P90 my friend, always a solid choice!

@@beardedchaplain right on dude!! SG’s are a totally different beast aren’t they? Snarly and aggressive…..I think I will go with the P-90s.
      Keep on rockin’ Andrew! 🎸🤘
If you want you can head over to my channel and see where I did a review and demo on my newest guitar (a single P-90) Vintage V120.
      I think you’ll dig it.
