5:11 I feel like that isn’t the best way to describe it, some people are just not very social and prefer to be alone and quiet and that’s ok. It’s not shadow just being grumpy it just his normal face, my mom used to always ask why am I upset being of my natural resting face.

I like that the manga showed Maria overextending herself when she's trying to cheer up Shadow. Every continuity tells us that she's super sick and frail, but, to my knowledge, this was the first time it was ever shown.
There are so many missing elements of Shadow's backstory that even if they developed an entire series centered around it they still wouldn't be able to cover it all and it hurts me for it.

Idk jow people can stilk say they're like siblings after the manga. Its fine if you don't ship them, but don't bash people who do. Even the creator of Sonic Adventure 2 based them off a romantic manga
They have no romantic relationship. They can be based on one but they are canonically just friends at the end of the day. Deep platonic relationships, are real and most common between siblings, which is why I see them as siblings.😄

This is something I really don't like in the modern world, this idea that all deep relationships must be eros, romantic love, that there's no room for philia, friendship-love. A bond of friendship so close that it's like brotherhood is no less beautiful than a romantic bond of similar strength.

I kinda fear there won't be enough scenese to buld their relationship. So far there were only 2 scenes shown in the trailer, a first meeting and death scene sooooo HMMMMM. Well, a fan can hope. 🥲

Yeah! When she is playable in Shadow '05, she can actually fight...so Maria does her part.
