  • Thanks to the folks at Bowker Motorrad in Preston I had the opportunity to spend a couple of hours riding an F700 GS while my RT was being serviced. Lots of fun, and I didn't drop it - although I did come close!

I'd love one of these for the terrible Lincolnshire roads!
Looks lovely, and not too tall or heavy.

Recently rented one for 5 days. Included a fair bit of gravel. Not experienced in riding adventure bikes. Loved it. Normally ride a 400 scooter. Only problems i see is a little light for 2 up. Also a bit of vibration at 100 to 110 kph. Otherwise would buy one tomorrow.

Has anyone besides me had problems with the gear indicator light going wonky every once in a while?

Awesome touring machine. I've riden for years all over New Zealand fully loaded with panniers, tent, sleeping bag etc highly recommended
